There are four times it plays in full, and all four times are scenes where the relationship between Catra and Adora’s goes through a fundamental change. You can hear bits and pieces of this theme occasionally at other times, most often for Adora, but it would be wrong to state that it belongs to either of them. The composer does this with a few other things as well - create a theme not for a specific character, but for a specific character arc. For example, Glimmer’s season 4 character arc has a specific theme that only plays 3 times in total.
