Engineer: The one who introduced Heavy to the inventory
Heavy: The one we've played against in the Inventory
Demoman: The one you'd expect to do some gambling at the Inventory
Scout: Doesnt know how to gambling, just plays it randomly
Medic: has some gambling experiences, always aid heavy
Spy: Master of gambling, wins the gambling in 20 streaks.
Sniper: Idk

That would make Heavy the hardest to play as then considering you'd now have to deal with drunk notes and 8 keys

gotta have the other mercs standin in the back with saxton giving out the drinks
I think ms. pauling would be a better fit cuz of the fact that Saxton would rather be punching an alligator in a primed-to-explode space shuttle than serve a single drink to someone

I like the idea of having the fan made Janitor serving.
1. He's Irish
2. He's about the most tf2-style fan character I've ever seen
3. He would just have a good face for it
We need a Pasta Night cover with Heavy, Claptrap, and Max. So we can have a Poker Night at the Inventory reference

i got that referenct and sure it would be amazingly to see it
Why Claptrap? He should be reserved for a PN2 version with Brock, Ash, and Sam (and maybe GLaDOS for good measure).
Hmmm okay, time for mechanic ideas!
For heavy: He can slam the table, similar to the pow block mechanic in the original which swaps the scroll time from downscroll to upscroll, and Vice-versa.
Engie’s mechanic: Scrap notes that deal damage to you when you hit them
Demo: The bottle notes from the Mann Co. mod, if you miss them, Demo screams and you take a decent chunk of damage, but as you hit more of them in a row the notes will start to move a bit.
Depending on who you choose to play as, you’ll get the mechanics from the other two.
Couldn’t think of an interesting cover for Pasta Night to listen to. At least until now.
I just realized it’s the “Defensive” Mercs lol. Thinking about it, would be nice to see a cover with the other mercs too…
Mechanics:
Playing as engie: Easy mode, you only hav to deal with heavy taking bites of his sandvich ocasionally which drains like 50 HP but cant kill
Playing as Heavy: Medium mode, you have to deal with Engie having his dispenser net to him which applies constant health drain to you by healing him.
Playing as Demo: Hard mode, deals with both mechanics at once.
And the notes move a bit because hes drunk

this is just the "defense" types having fun and the kids table would be scout soldier and pyro (thanks to buddylurker gaming) scout soldier and pyro also have child like attributes scout is literally treated like one thanks to pyro land pyro is actually child minded and soldier has child ways of crit thinking
Scout is considered a kid
Pyro has the mind of a kid
soldier has the critical thinking skills of a kid

They're playing uno instead of poker
mechanics:
Heavy spawns bullet notes and can smash your notes to the ground (like MX's POW Block)
Demoman spawns demo drunk arrows and your arrows are moving up and down constantly
Engineer spawns a mini-sentry to distract you and have to press space 7 times to destroy it
If You Play As...
Heavy: Instead of 7 times you'll instead have to press 5 times to get rid of the mini-sentry cuz your heavy, your side is a little harder, and drunk notes will be spawned by demoman.
Demoman: Able to spawn drunk notes to the opponets and if hit regain 10% of your HP, y our notes will occasionally go down and stay down for a while and then rise up for 5 seconds (the opposite applies for the downscroll) and have to press the space bar 7 times to destroy the mini sentry.
Engineer: Able to spawn a mini-sentry to regain health but gets destroyed after 7 secs, Notes will go up and down, demo will spawn drunk notes, and heavy will occasionally put you notes down and rise up after 5 seconds (the opposite applies for downscroll)
If Game Over...
Heavy: falls over and says "noooooooooooooooooo!!!" for 3 seconds and cry until you hit retry
Demoman: falls over and says "I'm Drunk" and then sleeps until you hit retry
Engineer: falls over and says "sentry down!" and then says "well now I've seen everything" and then starts mumbling "dang namit namit nangit mangit nangit dangit" over and over again until you hit retry and says "HOOWEE makin, bacon"

Story: whilst the mercs were on break, heavy found a set of cards and decided to call demo and engi over to have a game night, and that’s how this happened
