    THE IMPULSERC MICRO APEX TAKES EVERYTHING YOU KNOW AND LOVE FROM THE WILDLY POPULAR FULL-SIZE APEX, THEN SHRINKS IT DOWN WITHOUT COMPROMISE TO DELIVER BY FAR THE BIGGEST LITTLE FRAME ON THE MARKET.
    The meticulous transformation and extreme attention to detail has created a frame which incorporates years of design experience.
    Equally comfortable as a sub-250g long range explorer, or a full-blooded freestyle machine capable of handling the harshest environments.
    The Micro Apex incorporates all of the unique innovations pioneered by ImpulseRC and now widely imitated. From the compressed-X arm geometry, integrated camera tilt, front box-section and split main plate design, to our custom shoulder bolts and arm locking key. At the centre of mass where the arms meet there is a massive 8mm of carbon fibre, taking the stiffness of a micro frame to a new dimension so you can enjoy unsurpassed flight characteristics at this prop size.
    You can expect zero arm slop or movement, zero vibration or resonance, and of course that proven ImpulseRC durability you can always trust. All backed up with our full crash damage warranty that covers all carbon fibre and metal parts for 1 year from the date of purchase.
    Full crash damage warranty on all parts for 1 year
    Perfect for Caddx Vista, 4K Tarsier or classic analog setup
    No props in shot of flight camera with 3” arms

    Paused at 4:54 to suggested build tip.
    When I was putting my Apex frame together I used four short pieces of electrical tape to hold the bottom bolts in place while I was trying to put that little lock piece in the middle.
    It made my world so much easier I thought might as well share it.

    Nice! I‘m gonna do a 6s build on this little baby, my own Diatone Roma F35 😎 And I’m damn sure gonna use the capacitor on the mamba esc. How did the PID tune work out for you by the way? Keep up the good work. Cheers!

    Really curious to hear how you like it. The 4" LR is kinda boring but these 4" acro builds are something special. They fly incredibly good and efficient, so good in fact that I've taken my 5" out only twice this year and I don't see myself flying them that much anymore, unless I really, really have to haul around a full size gopro. I used your 3" guide to build my 4", so thanks for that!

      I love the 4inch apex, its perfect, light weight as well with new rules etc, I've had it built for awhile now and this vid was done with the 4inch apex: czcams.com/video/jDypA8Dt-FM/video.html I've been flying it more than the 5inch at the moment.

      @@Datfpv Flies great, I bet most people watching the video believe it's has to be a 5" hauling the camera :D . . it's only one inch but then again, worlds apart from the rest of the classes. Can't argue with the stick feel, huh :)

    I've got the parts per your list and getting ready. Stack came with a capacitor. Where do you mount that? Would appear to be a tad too tight to fit between Vista and FC. Also the Cap has a red stripe on the short side of the wire legs. But not marked + or -. Does that mean that the side with the red stripe is the positive? Thanks.

    HI... great build. i am planning a build with the same frame, my question is about the motors. Why did you go for the Avenger SE 2004 Motor over the Brother Hobby VY 2004 or T motor 2004? Thanks

    • @Datfpv
      @Datfpv  Před 3 lety +1

      all these motors are pretty similar, I've used t-motors before, no arguments they make great motors, I think the KV was slightly lower on them vs the brotherhobby ones, the brotherhobby are very very if not identical in specs... maybe only vary in a 1gram of weight or somthing stupid like that - the SE versions we're available where I am and I've never used them before - and I have to say, they are smooooooth AS FU*K MATE - love them... I've also sinse purchased: BrotherHobby TC 2004 Ultralight Motor - pretty much exactly the same specs... and SMOOOOTH as fu*k.... I think I have a thing for brotherhobby at the mo. x
