Exploding Balloons with the Q-Boom! - BMTV 201

This time on BMTV we are joined by Mark Drury who demonstrates the Q-Boom system! You might want to burst a 3ft balloon with smaller balloons inside for a gender reveal party, the finale to an event or to start a party with a bang!
In the past people have done this with pyrotechnics or compressed gas but a lot of venues won’t allow these types of balloon exploders any more. How the Q-Boom differs is that it contains a small, retractable blade that slices the balloon. Not only is this a safe method of performing balloon explosions but it’s also re-usable.

There seems to be a slight delay between when you press the button and when it goes off, is this a constant amount of time and/or does it get affected by distance?
Also, is there a timer-module so that you could set it up to go off at a certain time, ie. a countdown timer or at midnight etc?

I live in the US, venues here are a bit picky about clean up after the event. How long will those small balloons live in the ceiling for? Given they are filled with helium.
