This video will help you solve an issue where all garage door openers stop working. Supplies list: www.amazon.com/SkylinkHome-GB... www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...
Just happened to me today. All remote buttons stopped working and only the hardwired button worked. Your products listed on Amazon are unavailable. Searching for an alternative solution. Great video.
What a bummer that that happened to you. Sorry to hear that they aren’t available on Amazon!! If you find something let me know and I’ll update the video to help other people out!!
Very helpful information, would I be able to program two remote controllers ? Will sell me one device with two remotes ? one for my wife and one for me. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for the vid. Same thing is happening to me. If there is a short in the antenna wire could you just fix the hanging wire? And also how would something untouched get a short? Just wondering thanks for any help
I am not sure about replacing the antenna honestly! Any circuit board can get a short, it seems like in our case it was the antenna that burned out. Glad I was able to help!!
What is the brand of opener? My opener is a Genie. All openers stopped working. Remotes, cars and key pad. I can program them and one will work but then stop working later.
My ancient Chamberlain stopped responding to all remotes. I unplugged the unit, waited two seconds, then plugged it back in -- everything now back to normal. Try the easy things first...
@@aaronfixesstuff agreed. Just saying, try the easy things FIRST. 🙂 FWIW, I once rebuilt a VW bus engine that had begun stopping erratically, only to find the problem still there. Turned out the condenser I'd just replaced when tuning the ignition was bad. Replaced it with a Bosch one,... problem solved. Lesson learned (40+ years ago) - double check the last thing you touched!
This was exactly what I needed to fix my problem. Thank you.
Awesome!! Glad it helped! Pretty unique problem, fortunately with an easy solution :)

Do not forget to turn the fuse off before doing this or any electrical work. Otherwise, great video. Thank you.
So helpful!!
Thank you so much!!!
Hey, thanks for sharing this! One question, did you turn the main supply off before switching the receivers?

Where did you buy it? Can you send me the link please. Thanks
Does it use any power or battery?

If you go in the description box for the video you can find the link to them.
How did you know that there was a short on the antenna
Because all of the remotes stopped working at the same time.

@@cbgee674 great tip. But that often doesn’t resolve the issue.
