So, we all have exams and instead of studying we are watching how to study .
Just to feel productive 🙂
*3 days left for exam* **cutely searches video on how to prepare exam in 3 days**
“Open book exam” - can’t relate 🥲
I need to learn 13 chapters for one subject by heart and it’s only the first semester…
That sucks :(
This semester we have 8 exams in 1 year and this month we have mid term exams and February right after break we have test and March we also have tests ;/
I used to study for maths an hour or two before the exams and get A’s every time 🤡 but it’s harder now
Same I wouldn’t study at all and get straight A’s but now i am in uni soo it kinda doesn’t work anymore 😂😂
@@nadierahmat7757 listening during class and doing hws on time. I used to be the same but now it's harrdddd since I don't listen much during online classes
I remember waking up in the middle of the night and studying for an exam I had in 8 hours. I went through the whole material and did pretty good :D
I have an exam in 3 days wish me luck 😬 I'm shitting on my self and I can't breathe or sleep so much anxiety 😭 my first college class (biology) and my first exam.
I don’t know how it’s gonna be. How many questions or time we get.
Edit: I passed!
I remember those days studying almost the whole years portion within a single day before the exam and still scoring marks.... But thats not somethin that I can do now😭😭...
The intro was awesome😂😂" hey bestie u procrastinated the whole semester and now u are super stressed" 😂😂
i always cram the day before the exam. i usually get 65% to 87% for each subject. However, I'm trying to achieve more, so I'm studying 2 months beforehand. Your channel has been helping me a lot:)
Ty, Faye!
2 MONTHS beforehand? Dear, instead of torturing yourself like that, concentrate on the concepts, once they are clear, go ahead and make flashcards for the whole concept and figures and facts. Remember, go with the flow. Do all that on the same day the teacher gave the lectures. If you have a vivid understanding of the concepts, you'd only have to go through your flashcards to recall everything during exam season. I hope this study technique works for you since it works for me pretty well, and I am a straight-A student. (I am not bragging, I just wanted to reassure you that it's effective.
@@yogirl4115i am not sure but 2 months before is pretty fair if you have lots of syllabus and are not planning to study all day
The shortest time I have ever taken was 10 minutes for my History test, and I was surprised to get 20/20. All thanks to you Faye. You are the best, just like you tips and tutorials...
The shortest time I have ever taken was 15 min. It was a Grammar test ,I didn't study anything. But scored 28/30. Thank you for your tips it helps a lot.🙂
It’s grammar not gremmer, I normally wouldn’t bother pointing this out but you just said you got 28/30 from a grammar test.
@@reallylostmymind9624 Oh😝 I was so lost ,I typed it very quickly so didn't see the mistake. Thanks for pointing it out though...
@@sritamab2248 dw it’s fine,I normally wouldn’t do it but in this case, I just had to 😂
I took essentially 4 hours (17 hours including sleep and breaks) for a whole sem of phy as well as chem, got an A tho alhamdulillah
@@browniie1360 she's probably prepared pre hand or really attentive in class
alhamdullilah, tabarakallah
i think i saw you in the comments of nasheed slowed's vids?😅
Finally a video with practical and helpful tips instead of "drink water"! :D thank you!!
I have to:
1. Compile one giant PDF-file
2. I want to be able to answer all questions in previous exam-examples (need) and be able to answer all practice questions (need)
3. When learning the answers to the practice questions, I will write down questions to use active recall for the ones I couldn't get right. Like: "How to measure the effect of selling fixed assets on the plant note?" And try to remember the methods used for such questions. I will write the answers myself and practice them every hour.
How did CZcams know I've an exam coming up
Meanwhile me: *learning how to study for an exam instead of actually studying*
How do you plan?
☆ Find out how much work you actually have to do. E.g : biology = 12 weeks
Each day you are gonna complete 4 weeks of material.
1) list down what you want to accomplish. And Separate into 2 groups "Need to complete" and "want to complete if you have time" then prioritize each task.
-Day before exam
1. Recap
2. Do Practise papers
-Morning of exam
1. Revise important points
☆ How to learn the material quickly?
-Practise active recall, write down all the important points.
- after one hour or so stop what you are doing and answer previous question.
☆ What you should study?
1) focus on learning objectives
☆ When using CZcams, To save time:
Step one :
1) open transcript
2) command-f
3) search for keyword
Step two :
1)Speed it up
☆ effective tips
- if you have trouble waking up, sleep somewhere uncomfortable
- pull all nighters if you can but make sure it's not the night before exam because you are not gonna be able to focus.
The shortest time I studied for a test is probably a week actually 🙃
It should say pull all nighters if you *want, sleep is so important!
Thank you for the summary!
WOW a week? I usually study for 1-2 and rarely 3 days before an exam without reading much of the material before and that's really stressful but one week sounds like I could learn the whole year's material lol. Wish I had the motivation to study more:/
😂 damn lol. I have same feelings. One week looks like I can finish off the whole year's material.
I marvel at my ability to complete 7-8 chapters worth of material in thelast 2 days
Thank uuuu i this whole week and next week monday and tuesdah im taking big exammss
I study 2 days for my Maths exam. I finished my Physics exam on Tuesday afternoon and my Maths exam was on Thursday morning.
I got 89% in maths exam at last.
omg i can relate except i never even studied for my maths exam- but that was when I was until Junior high so...
@@aleeysyafiona8693 Well, the secret is put more effort in the subject you are good at. I didn't tell you that I have failed my Physics exam.
GURL This was by-far the most relatable study video
I have come across, like the 'i am slow' part and 'pull all-nighters all you want but not the day before the exam' like so true. I feel so much better now after your video, thank you so much ❤
Damn, I have exams on Friday and this video just randomly popped up. It's like a sign from above saying "I got u homie".
I love how she tell us about the add’s and requests us to watch the add if we want to support her and also thank us for something so simple. It’s just so thoughtful!
The shortest time I took to study for an exam was a few hours before it on the morning of, and I scored a B-. It makes me wish I had studied more beforehand because imagine the score I could've gotten if I was able to get a B- with barely preparing for it. I also prayed to God _a lot_, so I'm sure that helped me pass the test with the good score I did.
I rarely get enough time to do my assignments because I'm working but these guys (czcams.com/video/ldOXeOpB73k/video.html) have been of great assistance in my assignments and exams. I recommend them 100%, they have really made me proud . Thank me later;/\
Hello! I’m really grateful that CZcams recommended me one of your vids and now I am watching more of your videos. They are indeed very helpful and effective. As a med student, overloading of study tasks is really really stressfully consistent. Your tips helped me a lot!
(focus the hard ones first)Make a routine or a study guide
Put check if done
2)when studying put a bookmark if you have questions about it then if your done studying it put a mark
3)do active recall read the important definitions and term and write it in a piece of document or paper
4)if no time make a flashcard or put question and answer it
I have exams in 4days omg. I'm glad I saw this vid. I was a procrastinator since high school and it's always been my habit though I can still get enough grades but now it could be diffirent now that I'm in college. I'll be sure to study well this remaining days following your tips. Thank u so much this motivated me ❤️

i failed my biology, physics and chemistry so i came here and this helps and motivates me a lot, thank you so much for the tips you're a life saver
3 - 5 hours and I got a 100% kdhsksks
I was still elementary when that happened so 😀 it's a lil bit easy lol
I have an adblocker for youtube but I want to support your channel so whenever there's an ad I always turn off the adblocker and watch all the ads haha! I absolutely love your content ! It has been such a life saver! Thank you so much ❤❤
I keep coming back into this video whenever I have an exam, this is the last exam for this school year and it's next week. Your videos have helped me alot so thank you ! ❤️
shortest amount of time i have taken was 30 mins for a chemistry 40 marks test. It was at my tution place and i had forgotten that we had that test , so it was kinda stressful for me to grasp a 19 page chapter in 30 mins but i did it somehow and i scored more than everyone else who were telling that i'm gonna fail. So proud of myself for this. I scored 32
this is good & filled with lots of information! adding on stuff i've learnt: (as someone who's overly ambitious & managed to get burnt out bc of that)
- don't underestimate the power of sleep. research shows that one of the most efficient ways to learn is to make sure to sleep enough after learning - otherwise that time & energy is wasted as it won't stay in your mind. this is especially important the days before the exam - i usually go to bed too late but for my latest test i made sure to skip being on my phone during the night 1 week before the test and went to bed early - and when the day of the exam came i had enough energy and got through the whole 4 hours exam (and ended up getting an A). i've neglected sleep for many years, but that destroys your memory and capability to think and perform well, so now i try my best to prioritize sleep. also if you're sitting there the night before the exam trying to cram something, i'm sorry to tell you; if you don't know it now you won't know it at all - it's better to head to bed and be able to write the things you already know
- i don't revise the same morning as the exam is (or do anything else that drains energy), because that day i need to save ALL my energy into the actual test. if flipping through your notes in 5-10 mins helps you that's fine, but if you actually study the same day you're just gonna be tired when you're doing the test
- i am usually too ambitious when it comes to what i think i should learn, which means that in the beginning of studying it goes well and i learn a lot, but it takes longer than i expected and towards the end i have too little time and too much i think i need to learn. therefore (and this is something i have to work on): make sure that you at least get an overview over the whole topic, and then when you've done that you can start diving into details. it's better to know everything on a basic level and manage to pass than to know half the material by heart and half of it not at all (bc if the test focuses on the areas you have barely studied at all you're literally screwed). also this might just be me, but i usually think i need to know more than i actually need to know, so i have actually decreased the amount of time i need to study & the amount of material i need to know and _still_ kept my grades! if you can afford it, try to experiment and see how much you actually need to study in order to get a grade you want - for me it turned out that i was studying way more than i actually needed...
This is literally everything i learmt over the past few years summarised into a post , sleep is super important and the studying more than i needed part was such a good realisation too!
@@bobr2837 aw that’s sad to hear! perhaps you’ll have more chances to use it in the future. take care of yourself!! your results are quite tied to your health…
The tips are actually helpfulll! Most yt videos recommend the same few generic study tips but these are actually original and useful❤️
Your advice is highly useful, I had a Geography exam last week, and I studied three month paragraphs in just one day with the help of these tips, and scored 76/76, thank you so much!❤❤
In year 11, I had a chem exam for the entire textbook (a whole year’s worth of content) on Monday and thought I’d start studying on Thursday or Wednesday night because my last exam before that would be on the Wednesday morning. I procrastinated once again and ended up only leaving Sunday to study. I believe I spent around 8 hours on that day and scored a 32/40 on the first exam and 36/40 on the second exam (both were on the same day but a few hours apart). Anywho, that didn’t really do anything to scare me into studying so here I am once again with my procrastination 🤪✌🏽
Ik what u mean. For my science finals I studied on the last day. I literally started on the day before the exams. I was *wild* and still am.
@@itihavenkat4181 DONT LEAVE IT TILL LAST MINUTE. As much as you might have confidence in yourself that you’ll do well, if you get mad anxiety AND is a perfectionist like me, oh honey it is NOT a good combo

"Hey bestie" when I just heard this word I felt like my friend is speaking with me. I miss her a lot in this pandemic. And your videos always gives me motivation to study. Iam sure that I will do my best and study hard. Lots of love ❤
Thank you for this!! I’m having a physical exam in another 2 weeks and I haven’t had a physical exam for at least 2 years because of the pandemic, I’m really anxious since I’m a top student and I always overthink that I would not do well and lose reputation
The shortest amount of time for me was absolutely none but I scored a solid 90%. It was a french test. Thank you for the tips they were incredibly helpful
In my freshman year, for biology honors, we had a big standardized test that we must pass to avoid taking remedial classes. I just look up the previous exam from the year before in order to know what questions may be on the exam. It took me 3-4 hours to prep and I ended up doing 90% better than the students who took a similar exam in my state!
during recess, my friend and I were studying in a teacher's room without knowing anything about the test, and we both scored 100%.
2 hours for a history exam → 98/100
That's the exam I've been the proudest about, without any doubt.
I've been following your advices and tips for so long. I can definitely say that I improved a lot. Being put in a field with achievers and intelligent people creates so much pressure on me to the point that I can't help but compare myself to them especially during exams. I studied A LOT and prepared myself for it but i still ended up not reaching the score I was aiming for. I started to think that maybe I'm not trying my best as they are, maybe I studied but not as much as they did or it could also be how far apart I am to them base on intelligence alone.
I studied the day before for one of my biology tests, and I ended up getting 79%. Thanks to your tips, I'll try to improve my scores in the future :)
OMG I'm so earlyyy
AND THIS IS WHAT PERFECT TIMING IS!!!I HAVE EXAMS IN 4 DAYS Lol

10 minutes, I forgot about the test and most others in the class also did thus she gave us 10 minutes to revise. I got full marks, I think it is because I listened very well in class💖
That's nice! That also happened to me. My thoughts just flowed because I remembered what my teacher said clearly.
AAAAAAA I wished you posted this last month 😭😭 I'll try to study harder thanks for the tips 💝💝

Green for HW / orange for QUIZ / red for EXAMS
Haven’t tried it but I think it’ll work
