Village People music had first-rate players on those recordings. For those first four albums it was Alfonso Carey. I learned how to play bass to that stuff. There's a certain *authority* to the feel of disco music bass that I still really, really love.

Nice tone and the notes are right but you are Inconsistantly and randomly ahead of the beat in a way that would be unusable in a atudio situation.
Reccomend you do all of your rehearsing with a drum machine from now on.
It's a good job I am too shit to be in a studio situation.

That is a rubbish bass guitar. The only instrument capable of delivering fat disco lines is a Traben.
I think the Traben signature bridge would have definitely brought out the best of this bassline. One of the great American trademarks.
