- The Beatles recorded their 1st Album, Please Please Me, in a marathon one day session from 10:00 AM and lasting well into the night. By 10:00 PM, with the studio about to close, the Beatles were all exhausted, and John Lennon's voice was almost gone. They still had time to record one more song, if they could do it in one take. The result was a Rock and Roll masterpiece!
