this game is so amazing. the writing of the scarecrow story and psychological joker story is sooooooo good. sure the arkham knight aspects were predictable and unoriginal and the tank gameplay was tedious but imo everything else about the game was perfection

Its a travesty that rocksteady allowed for such a horribly written ending to a beloved character and utterly distasteful to Kevins legacy as the caped crusader.

Ikr the writers really managed to craft a very personal and emotional history for Batman in the same level to the movies and cartoons, and that doesn't feel out of place with the big Scarecrow's threat going on.
This scene absolutely destroyed me. I dont remember a game which i was literally crying to while playing. Reminds me of the Alfreds monologue with Michael Caine in Nolans Batman on Bruce grave. I still dont understand how you can come up with this just to follow up with a game like Suicide Sqad. I feel games and the gaming industry became ultra garbage in recent years.
Rock steady should have had this ending. Scarecrow had one more fear bomb. Batman unmasked. Batman rids of Joker in his mind. Injects Scarecrow with fear toxin after being saved by Jason Todd. Batman tells Comissioner Gordon and Jason to help Robin and Scarecrow out the building. Have Batman stay behind lock himself in. Reduce the blast radius and talk to Alfred. Have the song playing from this scene (Inner Demons). Tells Alfred "Do the right thing that is all that matter!" Then have Batman unmask slowly while Alfred still trying to tell him to escape and just before the building explodes have Bruce close his eyes while the camera slowly zooming in. Then as soon as the building is about to blow and the scene turns slightly bright have Bruce say "Goodbye Alfred." In my opinion that would have been a great/sad ending.
but thats not what rocksteady wanted. they wanted to kill batman, not bruce wayne. the explosion at his manor... it was to fake his death, as Bruce Wayne and still live as Knightmare Batman as we saw in the end. still sad but open. I still prefer the original ending. one of the best. we cannot ignore

I feel so Sad, this game have so much potencial, and 70% of It, is about Bat tank or batwheels... That kinda is possible to do. If it's a combat section, yes, it's partially impossible to do for a human to accomplish. If it's predator, it's actually possible since he has the gadgets and stuff.
This game is a 9 out out 10 for me. I couldn't get all of the Riddlers puzzles and i wanted to ride the Batwing which were the only negatives of my experience.

This scene shows the game peak way too early. While there are more emotional scenes in the game I think the tension didn't come as high as in this one. Also a later event sorta makes this scene pointless.
Pointless? It was extremely well written, Ace is the place that Joker was born. And Ace chemicals is the place that the "second" Joker could have been born. It was written in a manner to make you believe that Batman was in danger of becoming Joker because of his blood. But he wasn't. Joker only started appearing after he exposed to the fear toxin. And that is what his fear was. It was the closest thing to make him cross the line, to make him break his one rule he never would.
