- We are in Gulf Shores / Orange Beach in Alabama for a family vacation! We rented a condo right on the beach and everything is in walking distance from us… sounds like the perfect spot, right?? The beaches of Alabama and Florida’s Panhandle are some of the most beautiful in the world, yes the world! White powder sand and emerald water… nicknamed the Emerald Coast.
For extra fun, we rented a pontoon boat for the day from FloraBama so we could see more than the beach. We hit small islands in both Alabama and Florida waters and the girls came home with several hermit crabs that they caught themselves!

Coquina Beach. Anna Maria Island🏝️
Cape San Blas is great on Florida's panhandle. Used to go every year with family. Great old Florida vibe, all house/condo rentals no commercial hotels, and beautiful beach.
I love the Gulf of Mexico beaches the most from Galveston to the Florida Keys absolutely amazing breathtakingly beautiful. Grew up going to Gulf Shores so I have special memories of it. You guys have got to check out dolphin island ferry ride is worth it and Fort Morgan.

I van lifed along the Gulf Coast back in early 2021. I enjoyed Pensacola beach in Florida, but it was stressful finding a place to park for the night. I ended up loving Pass Christian, Gulfport and Biloxi in Mississippi. The beaches were beautiful, had some fun things to do and I had no trouble finding overnight parking along Route 90 right on the beach. I'd love to go back there again someday.
Gulf Shores is a great getaway and relatively cheap to rent a condo on the beach. We have friends that go there every year for the entire month of February and March to get out of the snow, they rent a condo and it’s very reasonable!

We visit Gulf Shores and Orange Beach frequently. Pensacola is also really nice! They are all favorites. We are in Biloxi, so they are near by and it is nice having waves. Love all your videos!!!

We literally just got home from Gulf Shores. We stayed at the San Carlos condominium’s.
I love that you featured Gulf Shores. It was a great video and I love seeing you having fun with the family. I'm from Foley and spent Sunday's at my Grandma's house on Fort Morgan Road. My Grandfather was one of the Light house keepers at Fort Morgan. Even though I live in Baltimore, I go back about every couple of years. This year I rented a 3 bedroom condo at the Lighthouse condo in October. Best time to go. Not so many people and not as hot.

Thank you for sharing this with us! I’ve been to Gulf Shores once and will definitely go back! I grew up going to Panama City Beach, which is definitely more touristy and crowded. Pensacola and Gulf Shores is great. I’ve heard of Dauphin Island being really nice as well. But it’s mainly beach home rentals and not nearly as much to do.

We stay at Orange Beach at Lei Lani in a 3 bd 2 bath and it's not as long to the beach. It's literally right on the beach and it's amazing. Not ever over crowded, not super touristy. It's my fav place to go! It's on the 6th floor and has a wrap around patio so you get the breeze. Sometimes these interior rooms have no breeze because it's not open.
Look at y'all's southern accents comin' back strong once you're back with your fam! Love it!

Really enjoyed UR video! We’re coming down to Perdido in October & I just can’t wait to hear those waves & let the stress melt away! We’ve been on a dolphin cruise before, but really want to explore on our own like y’all did. Love the Gulf Coast in the panhandle & those white powder sandy beaches!

Navarre Beach is so great I really hate telling people about it. Nice town and easy distance to get to enjoy Destin and Pensacola but come back to your uncrowded beach. We love it!
We love Destin Florida and we just git back from our beach vacation and our favorite activity is renting a pontoon and snorkeling and swimming and exploring on our own!!👍💜😁

You should check out St Andrew's State park, they have camping. You can go to shell island and it's starting to slow down on the beach so less crowds
We've rented houses in Gulf Shores for several years. Such a fantastic beach! We've also done Cape San Blas in Florida. However, we just rented a house in Cape San Blas this year and the beach had been destroyed by Hurricane Michael so it was not what it used to be. 😥 Looking forward to renting in Gulf Shores again. Thanks for this video to remind us how fun Gulf Shores can be!

I go there a couple times a year. Love the area. Did you go eat at Lamberts Cafe? Home of the flying rolls. Panama City is our favorite because of the restaurants.

Daughin Island, Alabama is amazing! Moblie Bay on one side & Gulf on other side!! Historic Fort Gaines "Damn The Torpedoes...", beautiful bird sanctuary!

Our favourite is Panama City Beach, we go every February for a month and basically have the beach to ourselves 🥰 If you come you have to do the Sea Screamer! Awesome ride along the coast watching the dolphins ❤️
I live in the FL panhandle. For me the beach is "The Emerald Coast" and then some more on both sides. My favorite is wherever the land and the Gulf meet.

If you guys make it on the gulf side in the Bradenton Florida area , you got to go to long boat key island it is like full on Caribbean water for miles
Clearwater beach hands down is one of the prettiest beaches in fl. St Petersburg beach is very nice too.
We love going to Destin/30a area, however we are going to Gulf Shores in 3 weeks. Pensacola is also nice, it has the national seashore. Can’t go wrong with the Gulf Coast.
You guys should try Siesta Key Florida sometime. It’s our favorite!
Our favorite is Orange Beach right there at the Florabama. Most years we rent a condo there and spend a week like you guys.

We love this area. I have family down there so it's the beach we usually go to. This year we're going to stay I'm Orange Beach at the Caribe! That's a GREAT place to stay especially with kids! I'll be doing a video on that trip. We're also taking our boat for the first time to the beach so we're very excited for that! We'll even get to keep it in the water behind our condo so it'll be perfect!

We rented a pontoon boat when in Florida it was so much fun, and took our dog with us.
We've been to Panama City Beach, Pensacola Beach, and Fort Pickens Campground. I want to get to Gulf shores and Navarre Beach. I live in AL so it's only a few hours drive and I really should and need to get down there much more often than I have!
Giving away a secret. But the best vacation with both Bay and Gulf experiences, is St. George Island, Fl. The best part, No high rise buildings.
I prefer VRBO over AirBnb ...with a family of 6 we always get a condo, cabin, house so we can cook meals in the unit!
Been going to Orange Beach area for many years now. I finally rented a pontoon boat from FloraBama our last trip. (Mid July) Had a blast. Hint, if you want some gorgeous water go toward the Ono Island bridge. Folks dock in the water and hang out throughout the channel. Also if you want what may be the best Bushwacker in the area. Take the pontoon to Pirates Cove.

I love the idea of renting a boat! We’ve never done that. Do we have to have a certain type of license? We love OBA/GSA but we’ve not been since 2018 & are going back this June.
Thank you for not calling it the Ocean. 😂 There’s some great camping in the area so next time you think about coming down, bring your RV.

We stayed in Texas on the shore in the most beautiful condo in a town called Port Aransas. The condo was called the Sands I believe. Each room had their own balcony. Huge giant kitchen family room & living room.

We booked last minute so it was a bit! But I had been looking at them for a while and if we would have booked sooner we would have saved. But we just couldn’t make up our minds!
