It's pretty funny that sol ring paints a target but is followed immediately by 2 ramp spells. Green can't keep getting away with this lol
Yup
Even that green ramp on turn two only gets you one mana up, and it's tapped. Sol Ring puts you up two untapped mana.
And even that costs two mana to do, as opposed to Sol Ring's one

That's because if Voja is left unchecked it gets too strong and everyone suffers lol.

Did you cut out all boardwipes? If yes, why?

For the most part I don't make the "strongest" versions of the commander on my channel, I make them with the intent to play them against one another. This also goes into the reason for no boardclears since most deck are creature based and would give a large advantage to them. The second one is that they promote bad gameplay and unnecessarily extend games.
@@TheEditingMage I'm not saying to pack in boardwipes, but your average deck has a couple (even creature decks have tailored ones), and that would represent a normal game and what the deck would be facing if someone else was playing it. Don't specifically put in extra when playing against only creature decks, but a deck needs to be able to recover from a boardwipe. A couple of boardwipes isn't upping the power level of a deck.
About the length of the game, if that's all you have time for then I completely understand. But I've noticed that people have been commenting that the games have been quite short and they would be appreciative of somewhat longer games

The main problem is people winning the game with the tailored board clears as they are usually very much one sided, which would incentivize the person with the clear to never attack and just hoard his creatures until a 1-2 turn kill. And on the other side you would have people playing more conservatively due to the knowledge that clears are in the opponents decks, which in my opinion is just less exciting to watch.

But what about putting in generic board wipes like Wrath of God, Blasphemous Act, Vandalblast etc.? Even a creature-based deck will sometimes want to board wipe, if another player is getting out of control.
Or at least more spot removal?
@@TheEditingMage without boardwipes, go-wide decks have a distinct advantage over decks which focus on a couple of creatures

Wow John was the biggest threat on board and they all ganged up on Sam. Literally Sam was the only one able to deal with John but everyone took there turn on Sam simply because they thought he was the biggest threat.
To be honest if they didn't kill Sam and let Sam kill John, Sam may have won but it's hard to say
Yeah, no kidding. Some pretty rough threat assessment there, especially since Pride had already drawn a ton of cards.
Well Extra could have still won if not for the Rapid Hybridization or just having a way to remove his Hangarback, so all in all I thinks it was still pretty close.
They definitely where way too focused on Sam. This kind of stuff happens in my playgroup one person takes a lead, everyone hyper focuses them, continues to kick them while they are down, then nobody has interaction left to deal with the real threat.
Board wipes were rule 0'd but otherwise very nice game!
