I like how they combined the mountain, snow, and sky theming all into one world, something that was three separate worlds in most New Super Mario Bros. games.

The fact that this game has musical levels is just amazing. Nintendo didn't have to do that, but they did, and I love it.
Nintendo went above, beyond and into infinity with this game

While it's SUPER minor, I liked that, in each world, the game tells you all the Wonder Seed Requirements from the start, showing all the locks at the top. I wouldn't be surprised if Day 1 Speedrunners used that.

I just 100% this game and it was honestly WONDERful. Loved the new power ups, the levels were all fun and creative, wonder flowers always kept things fresh and unpredictable, badges were so good, Easter eggs to old games were cool, special world was a fun challenge and I loved the last level. There’s so much more I could say about this game

This game is a huge step up from the New super Mario Bros series,not to say those games are bad but this has way more personality's

A little detail I noticed and loved: when playing as a Yoshi, if you have something in your mouth at the end of the level, Yoshi will say goodbye to the Poplin as usual, but the sound effect will be slightly muffled, mirroring how Yoshi has his mouth full.
There hasn't been this much, for a lack of a better term, 'flavour' in a Mario game in a very long time. If this sort of wackier/creativity represents a new direction for the series as a whole, colour me extra excited for future Mario games!
I actually liked kevin's mario voice. He kinda brings that energy that Charles did! Also the final boss theme slaps for a freaking bowser theme.

This is easily the best 2D Mario game since Super Mario World. I still think World is my favorite 2D Mario, but Wonder is a very close second

Already on world 4 and I love how expressive it is. This is the happiest game I’ve played in a while
It doesn't always work, but my favorite trick is to use the parachute hat (which has helped me in plenty of stages, especially sometimes in -Maniacal Game Design the Musical- Jump Jump Jump and its harder version) to climb up walls over and over.
Spoilers for the final boss
Rage Stage was a bit easy, I will admit that, but I liked the build up with how unstable the wonder effects in the level were and how the plants looked and sounded off (their dialogue boxes also had that "artificial" look that I've seen in SPM characters like Shadoo and Tiptron). The final gimmick of the Wonderstrike jump, was also really cool, reminds me of how one of those little tulips in every level lowered a pipe next to one raised by the wonder lava in the first palace, a wonder effect countering another wonder effect.
And demonic illusion trying to lure me into a false sense of security or not, that last talking flower telling the player "You're going to be amazing" was pretty uplifting to read just before the fight against Bowser started.
This game is unfortunately not perfect, still a bit far from that, but it was a wonderful experience and worth waiting for.

Despite it's minimal issues, it is indeed one of the best and kinda mind-blowing 2D Mario game.
Dude, your team NEEDS to make a cartoon series using that art style, that was by far the most fluid cartoon aimation I’ve seen since super show, and there was 15 seconds of it. I NEED MORE.

Mario Wonder is one of the best Mario games I have played, maybe my most favorite game in the series. I enjoyed everything to the new gimmicks, new enemies and the badges.

LOVED the skit at the end, it felt like I was watching some godlike Disney XD cartoon.
The skeleton dragon that turns into a live dragon upon grabbing a wonder flower reminds me of falkor the luck dragon from the never ending story. I absolutely adore it.
I just realized that when you run across the music note blocks, the controller vibrates just right so that you can hear the note blocks even with the system volume off, I think that is *mind blowing!*

the blue shell helping you under water is also a refrence to the first 'new' super merio bros game on the ds where the blue shell powerup also does that.
