If this game came out a year or two after Storm 4 id rate it higher. Being released several years later it should have been much, much better
That’s exactly my issue. They had so much more time to work on this than the previous games yet this is the most barebones Storm to date. How tf did they do that?
I would not. As that would mean one or two years after Storm 4, we’d be getting a re-release of Storm 4 with a little extra content, which could’ve just been dlc😂

It's unacceptable that this game released without a lobby system, rollback net code or crossplay is a crime
we just need a new game from the ground up tbh. all this potential with next-gen hardware just to re-release storm 4 with some new characters and a fraction of the content. the people trying to justify this are legit crazy

That's how I feel. Coming from someone who's been playing since Storm 2 and started seriously on Storm 3. It's just pure burnout. The Storm series will always have a special place in my heart. But we just need something entirely new from the ground up.

Those games truthfully don’t hold a candle to storm there’s a reason they stopped making them after a few years and storm series lasted over a decade

The vanish clash get repetitive and annoying because it keep on happening like 10 or 15 times when you fight cpu at hardest difficulty.
So I hope they make sure vanish clash don't become most important of battle it should encourage players to use everything in it
That way it has chance to be in Evo and if it didn't then I can at least see it have tournaments like def jam fight ny which I still believe should be in Evo

Ima be honest I regret spending 60 on the game .I love storm adding the new mechanic where u can combo off ground or into ult great step in the right direction aswell as second justsus hopefully it eventually goes to 4 with the mechanic of holding triangle square just how you can triangle circle .I like the concept of unblockable and super armor it just wasEnt done right . whats killing the game glitches like subsuitution bar not responding consistently and unfortunately is deciding matches , 4 th hokage teleporting rasengan and not being able to move out of it consistently so forces you to take the hit or waste a sub leading to spamming because it broken , sarada lighting shuriken extra hit and tracking , ashura rasangan doing extra hit , support , and chakra regain need to go back to storm 4 cooldown . All these things are easily fixable with a patch but there’s no sense of urgency . I think storm series are best naruto games ever released by far and the closet thing that really capturees that naruto feel bringing it to life same way budoki tenkichi Litteraly captures the essence of dbz .With that being said if the attitude their going put out the bare minimum and not genuially try to put the best product out it’s a cash grab . Storm 5 needs to be exclusively new gen roll back bring back clashes with random button sequence instead of button mashing , wall runnning , more stage destruction , and stage transition simlar to jump force instead of getting knock back in the ring like in storm once the invisible wall cracks there would be a small animation sequence where they transition to the nxt stage like danzo bridge if you break the invisible wall the nxt arena would be the water below the bridge which are both currently a map .
I spend more than that on this game they got me good

Those days are over man i agree they need to move away from fighting games and get back into RPGs and Sandbox’s you can still have the style of fighting game like DBZ or Tec or MK but it be better then those games cause it actually have more to it then a few modes
@@honchochaposrt7919 I disagree they should continue on with storm like I said earlier they found thier goldmine like tenkichi series for the naruto franchise that every other anime game strive for and has yet to achieve except for two franchise which are dbz , and naruto . We have yet to see peak storm from 4 justsu 2 of which are a super armor / unblockable , justsu clashes , wall running , stage transition , more stage destruction it’s so many things they can do to improve the mechanics which is ard beloved and building on it .Nobody but a small minority wants a naruto 2d fighter people assume if naruto gets a 2d fighter it will automatically get sf6 treatment as wise as budget which isn’t true at all and when broken bond and storm 1 realesed at the same time everybody wanted storm it had way higher demand this is coming from a person who owned broken bond . Aside from vs battle mechanics broken bond free roam shitted on storm because the attention to detail . I like storm use of throwing clone and chakra dash but broken bond allowed different characters and their ability to interact with the environment making each one feel unique and fast travel mini game in broken bond . Both were great if only you could combine both thier free roam with a storm 2/3/4 type of story mode that would be the ideal naruto game . if they were to get the open world rpg route the only studio I trust to do it justice and really bring it to life is rocksteady/ activision if it’s single player story oriented but for online pvp open world rockstar people who made red dead and gta . If rockstar decides there done with red dead I would fasho trust them handling naruto online rpg/ pvp type game basically what shinobi striker should be . But that’s dosent mean storm should stop like I said you can have both projects get pushed idk why it’s black n white where it’s storm or this .

Imo i think the game is too reliant on support work and gimicks rather than one on one fighting and the sub system doesnt need to take a full minute to regenerate.

I played this game for a day and never went back to it. Which is sad for a storm game
They seriously could've just added all these characters to work 4 as DLC, and Bandai would've been golden.
That's the thing they didn't wanna do that. Wanna know why? Because these games are just cash crabs. They made dlc that should've been like $10 into $70 because they know people will still buy it because the fan base will eat whatever bandai gives to their fans even if it's a pile of dog shieza.
Connections is just the fundraiser for Storm 5 in the next 2-3 years.
They said there will never be a storm 5 many years ago, so I don't think that theory holds much weight.
Not that I believe CC2 has the integrity to keep their word being the scammers that they are, but having a game called storm connections is pretty much the workaround to having another game release without it being labeled as storm 5.

The difference between dom and boro’s team is , Boro has to put in work for his damage because of damage scaling. Dom however does not , He bypasses damage scaling and the poison does all the work for him . There is a difference between broken and overpowered
Yeah venom is beyond broken. Sarada isn't the best in the game at all imo. Tbh prob hanzo/kiba/edo minato. Hanzo is op venom whenever he wants 24 7 which is an easy 1 health bar in 3 seconds

@tarfielarchelone2674 I almost always beat Sarada. She stands in one place, edo minato spamming instantly stops Kunai combo spam from her. Also just having invicible supp check it asap. A good hanzo on the other hand can wipe a whole bar in 3 seconds with venom at any time in the game.
