With Valentine's Day out of the way, we return to your (semi) regularly scheduled program. Sholmes finds an excuse to eat things he shouldn't, the cast discusses poison and its proper classifications, and Kazuma continues to annoy van Zieks.
After finally getting everything right, I realized I probably should have had Stronghart in the judge's place for that last skit, but I'd already spent time outside of objection.lol editing some audio problems that I really didn't want to have to redo all that work just to change that.

And because of this I have a ridiculous amount of 'this is a Sholmes post' quotes saved. At this point I have a Sholmes quota for each video to make sure there's an even distribution of them lol
True. It's part of why both them appear in every video. That and it'd honestly be a bit hard to do one without them.

Really liked the 2 swords skit/joke. It feels like Kazuma would say that. Also, Kazuma annoying Barok continues to be amusing.
I've always had good sprites for the both of them, and I love using Drebber and Stronghart, but I don't want to just throw them in arbitrarily. I want it to make sense as to why they're there. I want it to feel like whatever quote they're saying fits them.
Admittedly Drebber is a bit arbitrary here, but I was running out of HD sprites to use there. It's part of why Gregson is here despite being lower quality. But yeah! I'm always looking for opportunities to use them, especially Drebber. Love that funky robot man.
I saw that and just had to do it with Kazuma. Not only would he say that like you said, but his dumb (affectionate) double sword look made it perfect. I'm glad! I enjoy doing them it so I don't want it to come off as too repetitive.

Barok and Kazuma are my favorite Great Ace Attorney Chronicles characters, so you'll never see me complaining about more of them.
I think you used Drebber well albeit only for a cameo. Ditto for Stronghart too, in those short scenes.
If I had one nitpicking tho, I think Herlock tends to come off as more "dumb" in these videos. I kinda wish more of the meme skits allowed for the chess master/manipulative bastard version of Herlock too. But it's not your fault that so many silly memes just fit him too well.

Mmm yeah. I love that version of Sholmes and think about him a lot but it's sorta what Sholmes is really like vs how he wants to come off. Between that and how he fits silly memes so well as you said, it's a bit harder to show that. I don't think I have anything on hand that fits that vibe too well, but I have quite a bit so I'll look into it!

SO MANY so yes, I do. Not all of them are suited to a format like this as they work better as just text posts, but any time I look at a funny text post and can automatically picture a DGS character saying it, I save it and determine what to do with it later. Not only does it create a nice backlog from me to pull from, but it also helps me track what I have and have not done. That and it saves me time later having to hunt down suitable quotes.
Finally beat the game and I can watch all of these without worrying about spoilers.

Sure! I don't have a Sithe model, but I can hunt around and see what I can find. I love her and actually have the perfect incorrect quote for her iirc. I do have forward facing Herlock though with the Sholmes model I have though. Some of it at least, so if nothing else, I can do that.

He barely acknowledges that he did anything wrong, and while it was a pretty predictable twist that he was the villain, I think that made it interesting in a way. A lack of remorse isn't rare in AA, but he took what Gant did and doubled down in a way. It was cool.

Considering AA standards generally and Gant specifically he is obvious, but the question was never "did he do something?", it was "just WHAT did he do" all along, and on that question the game absolutely delivers. And his denial enhances that
