Las Vegas Sphere Flyover

In November 2023, the highly anticipated Formula One event graced the vibrant city of Las Vegas, marking an extraordinary spectacle that surpassed all expectations. The entirety of the event, from its inception to its culmination, left an indelible mark on our city, captivating spectators with its sheer brilliance.
Amidst this grandeur, the recently unveiled Las Vegas Sphere became a focal point of fascination for me. Its unparalleled design defies description, rendering it a must-see phenomenon that transcends words and demands a personal experience to truly comprehend. Compelled by my obsession with this architectural marvel, I set out to capture its essence from the air, a task not without its challenges.
Situated within the exclusive 'Zero Grid,' a zone mandated by the FAA for professional pilots and business-related flights, the Las Vegas Sphere posed a unique aerial photography challenge. Despite restrictions on recreational pilots and hobbyists, I, with the necessary credentials, navigated the airspace to deliver this extraordinary video.
Introducing 'The Cammy,' a carefully executed flyover maneuver named in recognition of the meticulous planning and safety considerations that defined its execution. As I crest over the top of the Las Vegas Sphere in the video, the entire Strip radiates with a luminous glow. In perfect synchrony, the Formula One track lighting on the southern end of the course illuminates, creating a breathtaking visual symphony.
