- On July 4th 2021, after the postponement of our 2020 race, riders from all over the UK set off from Maker Heights in Cornwall to embark on a much needed and long awaited adventure through Celtic nations and parts of South-West England steeped in Celtic tradition. The typically brutal weather paired with a challenging route would test even the strongest wills, as both mental strength and physical endurance would be pushed to the limit. Friendships would once again be forged within this fire and strangers, rivals and clan folk alike would enjoy an experience they will never forget. This is their story

Jenny Graham might just be the sweetest person on a bike.
This is actually the best vidéo available on CZcams. FANTASTIC.

🎥🚴♂ Wow, just wow! This cycling video is a masterpiece. We're honored to include it in our collection and celebrate the cycling spirit together! 🎊
love the opening. We are so blessed and the narrative in this world is so negative. Onward.......
This is so good I'm sure there are 4 year old kids on tricycles all over the world glued to the screen watching this!

Harald
What a wonderful film!
Love bikes !
much respect to you all from Ontario Canada...cheers
The intro music is vibing in my head
I’m so so touched by this. While watching this, I can’t help but comparing this with Squid Game (yes, the Korean drama). If Squid Game represent the worst of mankind through a competition, then Pan Celtic Race is the total opposite. Both organisers has clear motivation behind the game, but the results are the total opposite.
Every participants suffer throughout the race, but they enjoy every single bit of it, it is Life! We can grind through the competition or we can lift our heads up and appreciate the beautiful scenery.
I admire Angus, not only because of his unbelievable performance, but how he also managed to enjoy every bit of the race while being competitive, he is a real winner.
And Chris and Paul demonstrate real sportsmanship, this touched me a lot too!
I can go on and on, but I really love how the team made this race as beautiful as the scenery. Thank you so much!
jenny! goodness jenny gives me a huge smile every time i see her on a bike.
I have watched this 17 times now it is a beautiful video. Inspirational !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well done and thank you
This is relatable to the Bob Graham Round, ultra fell race.
Hoping this doc will get some sexy film laurels to go with it. So good.
Beautiful and Epic at the same time, what a journey. Glad though that I did not have to race under that torrential rain......
Incredible. Absolutely incredible.
What a brilliant documentary to watch!!
Really nicely made film! Thanks so much.
Amazing documentation -sitting on a bike in Germany and loving it
Brutal. Beautiful. Mind boggling. Amazing.
Wow!
Angus Young is a beast!!!
Brilliant film. Thank you.
That was AMAZING. I got a good laugh when he sang Eye of the Tiger to Fergus 😂
That was great. Have to find that cover. Loved the Dire Straits on the Sax at the end as well. Great film!
Wow! Great race I had ever seen before.
way better than gcn+'s film about this race, and this film is free...
You are too kind...but also very true x
Outstanding, quality job; so where to next year
The Wild Atlantic Way 🤩
Amazing!
A Hungarian cyclist! 🙂👍
Wow - what a race - what a film - what a spirit - thx a lot 🚴🏻♂️🌈👍🏻
....wow....amazing...love it.....
amazing film. what a route. thank you
Such a great use of 46:41. I am a better person for having watched this great movie. Thank you PCRS team.
This is so what I love about being British, this sense of of 'get on with it' no nonsense attitude.. Beautiful! Thank you to all of you.
Sadly it appears the British people will be gone in 100 years..... 😢
The guys and gals on this crazy race passed us on in the opposite direction of my Lands End ride last year. One of the guys broke his wheel as he passed us snd we arranged for our tour guide to give him a lift as they ride completely unsupported. Huge respect to them
24:15 I was telling to myself "this tractor sound and rear view mirror... looks a lot like my old LT van". Sure enough ! Best roadside assistance vehicles for sure
Flagellants of 21. century!
A great watch, Well worth the viewing
this is amazing
what an epic race!!! amazing film, people and I loved the music too!
So well made that my legs ache...
Thank you for this wonderful video.
What an incredible athletic performance by all involved. An I must say Friction Collective did a fantastic job portraying this incredible adventure in it's purest form. For 46 minutes I felt truly immersed. Bravo all.
Thanks Vince, that's so good to hear.
It was an incredibly race to take part in. So much so I’m back for more this year😀
@@FrictionCollective Yup! Great work squashing the insane amount of footage you must have had.
I mean really...THIS is reality TV! I'd so tune in to watch a 10 part more immersive series on the race. Great job! Love Pan* races!
Thanks @@lf1980 It was actually a consideration of ours to make this into a mini series, perhaps we should look at this again with the next race. So pleased you enjoyed it.
@@FrictionCollective If only a mainstream tv or netflix/amazon style platform would use this. Cheap, so much natural drama, interesting people with interesting backgrounds and motivations.
And you guys know what you're doing with narratives.
Fingers crossed. Plenty of dot watchers out there that live vicariously through these participants.
All the best with next year!!!
Amazing
Very good decision, enjoying movies inspirations riding the bicycles out there oh yezzzzzz lovely idea, let everybody enjoy such new cinema shows and...bring them cycling partnerships all over the world from my behalf, this is the perfect happiness guys
1 week before you start your 1st bikepacking trip: can I really do it? In the 1st week then: wow, it's great to experience nature like this. In the 2nd week: wow, i feel better with every day and i get stronger and fitter. With every further week and every new day it gets better and better, your body in harmony with the nature: experiencing and feeling freedom.
And in the last week of your trip: wow, as soon as i'm back home, i have to plan the next tour.
Fantastic.
Thank you.
Brilliant. Well done to everyone who took part in this event. If only I wasn't so old !
You’re never too old
@@PanCelticRaceSeries Thank you. I am just in awe at what every competitor achieves.
Beautiful film. Watched it several times and listen to it on bike rides.
I need this in my life.
Nice job, riders& film& organizers.
Great film - thanks!
Like a trip down.memory lane for me as I lived and worked in St Ives Cornwall 30 years ago. I still have family down there that I haven't seen in so long. I used to MTB some nice gravel down there. Congrats to the new grandad that's awesome
I've been a bike packer for over 30 years and have never heard from you ... 22 'I'll be there ... the weather isn't that much better here either and, most importantly, I'm not very fresh anymore and with you I've also seen such old sacks .... Greetings from Cologne, Germany
Haha ok well looking forward to welcoming you to the Clan 👍
Only thing missing is the baseball card on the spokes! Epic ride, excellent movie, exceptional riders!
Just wonderful.
Awesome 👍🤘🚴
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Wow.
That is all.
All heart! What a wonderful story telling about resilience. I was captivated. Kudos!
As Mark Kermode would say, "Well Done You."
Seriously, it's a great watch. Lovely soundtrack by the way.
Thanks for putting it all together.
Cheers
What a delight of a film. Well done to all the riders who entered too. Takes some guts to even try such a beast of an event. We truely live in a beautiful Island don't we.
Brilliant film featuring beautiful scenery and interesting people! Very inspirational. The "kind of free jazz" rendition of "Careless Whisper" really cracked me up at the end! 😆
Очень крутое мероприятие и очень круто снятый фильм, респект!
The endurance athlete is full of endorphin and becomes full of positive mental attitude and can-do attitude. Very good.
Have to say this was one of the best bike race films I've seen. Great editing, spectacular filiming. Big respect to the organisers and riders!
Thanks Nathan. Its all a labour of love. Great to have nice feedback :)
Agree 💯
@@BIIIKES hop
P.S. I agree that most people are wonderful, kind, and crazy happy to help others! Cyclists rock as well (Bias here)
A very well narrated and produced documentary, I really enjoyed watching this, thank you !!!
Smashed it out the park once again, I need an adventure soon!
As a long distance bike rider, who now rides a recumbent due to back and neck issue's, I'd love to try this, if they'd let me do it on my recumbent. As for tires, Schwalbe Marathon Plus and thorn resistant inner tube. I hate Flats. I've been to Stone Henge many many years ago. But I hate riding in rain. I love listening to people talk about "Oh I want to ride 200K today, that's only 124 miles. I used to do that a lot. Anyways, great video.
Endurance sport is fascinating and inspiring, the highlight for me the two guys battling for 2nd & 3rd who decided to enjoy each other’s company and ride in together, nice people ride bikes!
Almost any form of cycling off the track is “endurance” sport, this is well into “ultra endurance” at these kinds of distances and durations. What I find fascinating is that it’s far more about mental condition than it is physical condition - a 50watt FTP advantage is completely meaningless compared to the ability just to not give up and press on, for whatever reason that drives you.
I don’t think it’s altruism that made them ride together so much as mutual encouragement, distraction and overcoming fatigue, boredom, loneliness and fear. Basic human companionship, even in an event that seemingly celebrates independence and isolation.
Just beautiful! The people, the landscape, everything!!
Watching this on the trainer … smiling almost the whole time
Thanks. It has the same effect on me too!
What a beautiful film
Haven’t stopped thinking about this race since seeing this film, it has gripped me and won’t let go, entries open soon and I’m taking time out of my shift tonight to get myself a spot on 2022 edition.
I want to ride,
I want to explore,
I want stories to tell
I want to be part of the Clan
stop thinking start riding :)))
fabtastic
Epic🚲🚲🚲 kudos everyone...
Greatly race. Love watching. 👍
Fantastic race, fantastic people, and fantastic route.I Even saw the village I used to live in, can I do it in my Velomobile?
Great film and HUGE RESPECT to all the riders. That Angus is just an animal though😀.
Great places and landscapes, lovely people, enchanting music. Something beyond the pandemic...!🚴👍
Just fantatic ! Thank’s for this video 🙏
Just to echo everything said before. Awesome and inspiring. Brilliant!
It was good to see the two guys come in together, that’s what it’s all about, in cycling and in life in general, the only person you can truly compare yourself to is you.
Such great vibes. Well done to all involved.
The style in which the video was filmed and edited was also incredibly well done.
Cheers Stuart, much appreciated
Yeah! Congrats to everyone that took the challenge and, really, the video editing is amazing! Got me in the mood to run it someday! greetings from Argentina.
perfect! congrats
Congratulations on the excellent film, with testimonials, images and the soundtrack! Great
