This live version of the song was from the live album “Captured Live” which was released in 1984, but the concert itself was in 1983. Peter and Bob co wrote the song together when they were still “The Wailers” before Peter Tosh’s departure from the group in 1974. Peter and Bob reunited on stage again in 1978 to sing this song together for the last time before Bob’s death a few years later. Peter always had a fiery energy during his performances, and a good example of this is during his set at the one love peace concert in 1978. I strongly suggest listening to his performance of burial during the one love peace concert gig, included in the performance is a fiery speech about Jamaica’s current political situations. ⚡️

I feel you. Bob has more and better songs, and obviously a great fire; but peter's fire is 100 times hotter. When Bob is peace & love; Peter's the warrior. IMHO, Peter is more representative of the overall Reggae spirit, protesting for dem Rights.
      Jah guide & protect!

The song was originally written by Bob Marley and Peter Tosh and done for the Wailers "Burnin'" album. It was a signature tune at Tosh's concerts as seen during this "Captured Live" concert. All three original Wailers--Bob, Peter, and Bunny--did versions of this song.
