Whatever you said about the airport and about Biman is lot more decent what we say about them. Fortunately, things are gonna get better with the opening of the 3rd terminal since a Japanese private company is going to get the contract for the ground handling. Also, the terminal is bringing in all the latest facilities that are available all over the world. So, 🤞

Welcome to Bangladesh again. Good to see you. So, you were right that, Biman Bangladesh and Dhaka airport services are not good, and we all know that. As you said, Bangldesh Government is expanding the airport and constructing new terminal to improve overall experience. That will be in operation within this year, to be exact October maybe. Otherwise, currently Biman Bangladesh doing the ground handling and others stuff and they aren't good at this. So, government takeover this to Japanese company and they will be in operation when the 3rd terminal will be open. Then you can enjoy the international quality services and a beautiful airport. In addition, 3rd terminal is designed by following Changi Airport Singapore and they make sure all facilities will be same, but I can't say Biman Bangladesh services will be good because they really do not care about this as a Gov. Airlines. However, you can journey others private airlines like, US Bangla, Novo air etc.

I fly with biman from 1993 until they stop coming Paris. I have good remember flying with my family. Excellent service Daca airport person well take care of us. Bangladesh people's are so helpful. Good food excellent service. Very sad that they don't come in Paris 😭

বাংলাদেশ বিমানে কখনো চড়িনি, তবে বেশিরভাগ সমীক্ষা যা দেখেছি সেগুলো খুব উৎসাহব্যঞ্জক নয়। কিন্তু বাঙালী হিসেবে একটা জিনিষ চোখ এড়ায় না, বরং খুবই ভালো লাগে: সেটা হলো বিমানগুলোর কবিত্বময় নাম। আগে দেখেছি হংসবলাকা, সোনার তরী, মেঘবালিকা ইত্যাদি। এই ভিডিওতেও দেখলাম হংসমিথুন আর রাজহংস।

And also by looking at third terminal construction work in your video clip I can understand you have travelled Bangladesh for the second time a months ago. One more thing, there are two more advanced Dreamliner in Biman Bangladesh Airline's fleet. Registration Number S2-AJX & S2-AJY. The seats are more advanced and comfortable. Next time Soumit Da 🙏

Bro this terminal is old. Bangladesh government is building new terminal with iconic design. New terminal will open this year.

Priority pass membership is 99 USD per year but many HNI credit cards in India do offer them complementary. All you need to do is to own those credit cards and you’d be auto enrolled for priority pass membership too. You’d have digital card ready to go almost immediately. I do know Axis Reserve, Magnus, Amex platinum charge happen to provide it but others too I’m sure would be having it.

Actually, for domestic and vip passengers there was a separate terminal which was demolished for ongoing third terminal works.

How did you explained sounds like Indian Domestic flights provide vip services for Business class passengers?? I had travelled Dhaka-Kolkata Indigo Business class. They had taken extra charges for food, although they didn't provided.

You can visit within 30k
Bangladesh isn't a good place to travel, cz places are crowded to the highest extent, transportation isn't good & the roads are bad (I'm Bangladeshi Sylhei, yet Im saying this).
I can suggest you some less visited but good historical sites tho: Mahasthangarh, Mynamati & War semetry in Comilla, Khasia tribal village, Gold temple in Bandarban, Shada pathor etc.
