When you listen to this type of music it is good with fine headphones. The music comes directly into your head, without any layers you have to accept it. And so I do, even like it.

This quartet is a high point of musical literature particularly from the 20th centuary and the Doric really have it under their fingers. A fine interpretation and thank you.

Their body language: perfect example of how important the EYES are to the pleasures of LISTENING. Part of the sonic pleasure comes thru what the eyes tell the listener! Who knew?

Thanks! Dense and "difficult" (as some say) but definitely rewarding. The second part is just mind-blowing. Greetings from Poland.

I don’t think that this musical work would appeal to most devotees of music of the Early, Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical music periods.

Bartok 5th string quartet is one of the weirdest think I've ever heared.

I just don't understand what Bartok is trying to say. This composition sounds aimless and meaningless to me.

You should probably get out the score and be specific if you want to be helpful. Otherwise people might mistake you for a jerk. What you've got is pretty vague.

Not to everyone's taste of course but truly original innovative and colourful nonetheless
