I’m always happy to see more people check this game out been playing it for two years now and it really feels like mature Minecraft and gives that early day feeling to it
Lore is best figured out by talking to the traders that randomly spawn in the world or when you find books/scrolls/tapestries in dungeons and ruins. The game doesn't really give you answers but it gives you enough flavor text to make your own theories about how things got this way!!
@@sniperman1109 Oh my!! Don't ignore traders!! When you find money (rusty gears) they will sometimes sell things that could help you survive or progress faster!! Mark traders on your map so you can go back to them and purchase from em!
I started playing vintage story a month or two ago. So far I have loved every minute of it. The mods are plentiful and immersive and easy to install. There are things that I would love to have that are in Minecraft but they will come with time I'm sure. Hell I like this game so much that I have thought about doing a let's play series.
While singlepleyer can become boring after copper era for most players, multiplayer starts to thrive at this point, shame that server hosting prices are absurd for VS
i just saw this video about 50-40 minutes ago and i looked up the game and i gotta say i gotta thank you for letting me know of this game's existence and im looking forward to try and play the game.
while I'm on the search for a new survival game to scratch the itch my first thought on seeing this video was "damn this dude looks like somoen i'd want to be friends with." I've heard of vintage story but never pulled the trigger. I'm still on the fence but going to check out more if your videos

Can you build houses and bases and other things piece by piece like lego??? Cause Minecraft is a building game first and foremost. Also that helmet and armour looks uncomfortable
You can build better than minecraft in a way. You can chisel small parts out of blocks and combine materials from other blocks. Some people even make drawings/"paintings" using chiseling!

Plus 1 particular trader will send you on the path to a particular main story quest.
When I realized I can get old books from panning the sand, oh man, I've spent a couple of real days panning for my two-shelved book library😂

i love working through the ages from knapping flint to hammer forging my copper, bronze and iron tools. GAMES NEEDS WATERWHEELS!

dont worry about hosting, there is a free one called something unique hosting you gotta start and stop it cause well its free but it still works
