Why are single-game tourneys so common in Japanese arcades? I've seen that's also the format in most Vampire Savior and HFTF arcades tourneys too

Although Capcom vs SNK 2 have some pretty dick backgrounds Vanessa game always thought it was disappointing in The challengers were not well as animated either them both of the companies by Yu turbo kill🥱🥱🤔🤔🎮🥷😖

Time constraints mostly. They're working with a limited number of setups under a set schedule in a public venue. Also most players are interested in playing as many games as possible so finishing the tournament quickly means more time for casual games.

CvS2 s ther GOAT. I wish I lived in a world where this game was patched for balance, but also I don't because they'd remove roll canceling.
Love seeing so many varried chars in these japan tournaments and not just vast majority a-groove sakura/dictaror/sagat/blanka top-tier whoring.
