    Cough, unpopular comment, but.......
15:00 The 76 only has front and rear lockers.
LX is not that important because it doesn't really mean anything in SA. You only get a LX trim.
Unlinke Australia that has workmate, gx & glx trim levels.
LX is pretty much the same as GLX.
Though the troopy (78) and at some point the 79 (when it was only the single cab) had vinyl interior and a black bumper and grille.
The LX has a chrome grille and cloth interior.
Very nerdy I know but just pointing it out and I enjoyed the video.
Jinne the V8 sounds nice, even with the stock exhaust and snorkel.
Still would like to test drive a V8 to compare it to the 1HZ.
Those stock tyres are not very good, but the terrain was also very loose sand on a hard surface = no grip.
Our 76 came with Bridgestone duelers (not a very good tyre), looking back at old photos the tyres looks so skinny. It now has Bfgoodrich K02s (31,5" or 265/75/R16).
Previously it was 265/65/R16 (29.6") which was apparently a bit of a uncommon size to get in remote areas.

Hey man, yes it should do perfectly fine, there also a 2wd trail for the guys who're after rye more scenic option - but your amarok will eat up that trail.
