Many explorers have tried to enter this building but with 24 hour security for the last 10 years it has been nearly impossible! Join us as we see what’s left inside this massive piece of history! part one! Make sure you like and subscribe share this link with a friend and as always stay safe my friends!

Awesome video!!! I can’t believe they tore all these magnificent and powerful buildings down.... such a disgrace to history. We should keep these buildings standing as a reminder of how things used to be.

The local community did their best to save Allentown I think it was the states plan to let it sit there and rot until it was in the state it was in then get rid of it without the preservation! Definitely sad to see them go! The architecture of the day was spectacular and craftsmanship excellent allowing it to last over 100 years!

When they closed these hospitals The mentally ill had no place to go but on the streets That's why we have so many homeless They need to reopen them and start getting these people help Many are so incapable of taking care of themselves due to drugs The suicide rate is up There wasn't any homeless much before they closed all of these mental hospitals They need to reopen them and have a place for the mentally ill to go to get real help 😧👍✝️

Yes you speak the truth! I have seen old movies of long island after they closed Kings Park and Central is slip how many people standing on the streets with nothing to do and no support system for them after they had been released and stopped taking their meds! America tries to take care of the rest of the world will not taking care of their own

They could of save this beautiful building, Allentown school district has so many kids they don't know we're 2 put them. They could of used this as a high school. But let's tear history down!😡😡

What a crime to tear down such a place that could easily have been converted to affordable housing etc for people. I'm sure what it would have cost to get rid of the lead paint and asbestos that was probably in there wouldn't have been cheap but still it's sad to just write it off like they did.

ALL of Allentown State Hospital was raized a few years ago. At a cost to the tax payer of THIRTEEN MILLION DOLLARS.
It's TWO HUNDRED acres was then sold to a private concern for only FIVE MILLION DOLLARS. That's TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS an ACRE! Considering the cost of land, that was quite a "steal."

Did the whole hospital have power? Or just parts of it.

Check out 3:17 we were there as early explorers and the power was still on to most of the building!

The main Hospital is now gone completely! And they are working on the rest of the property now! Some smaller buildings and the administration building are being demolished at this time!
