Q3: What happens if you go for the golden strawberry?
A3: If you make it to the heart with the golden strawberry, you are led to a final checkpoint with some more screens (see • ❚Celeste❙Chapter 9D 10... ). I don't think anyone will ever attempt 9D golden seriously.
Q4: How do you see the screens at the Trust checkpoint (41:18)?
A4: This is done by installing the CelesteTAS tool (gamebanana.com/tools/6715), and turning on the "Simplified Graphics" setting.
Q5: What is the secret map found at 2:00:39 for?
A5: This is a map related to a secret in the Epilogue D-Side.
Q6: Why does the timer restart? Are you cheating?
A6: The timer restarts when I need to reset screens using debug mode, or when I restart from a checkpoint. All of the screens are completed legitimately, but debug mode is used occasionally for trivial backtracking or resetting.
Q7: How long did this chapter take you?
A7: The in-game timer clocked in at over 82 hours, which I completed over the span of 2 months.

2:13:31 Casually cuts out 10 hours of attempts, like the chad he is.
I had to dig deep to find what few mechanics 9D DOESN'T use: Huge Mess switches, the PICO-8, Mirror Temple Eye "boss", playing as a Seeker, Summit gems, and obscure tech like bino clips. (Theo Crystal and the SMB3 block are in the golden part)

@@pirilon78 The round spike blobs (known as "spinners") can only kill you if they're visible. You can use binoculars to move them offscreen, and then move through them before the camera moves back.

@@pirilon78 kind of late, but apparently you can do funny stuff with bino if the map is designed for it (see: s.b.w.w.’s moon berry)
it’s the kind of jank that no one wants to play with though, since it effectively forces you to play blind (bino screen controls + invisible hitbox)
"Not for the faint of heart." Dude, my heart stopped multiple times watching you play, I believe ya ! I finished regular Farewell, and even got the Moon Berry. But there is no way I am attempting any of this. I can only bow to you, good sir.
Yeah, I passed out when I realized that you have to do Ultras, which are wave dashes, but SCARY.

It’s easy! Just make gosh dang near pixel perfect parachute throws and dashes for five minutes straight without dying because checkpoints are miles apart!

To get past that crystal heart wall, you need to do some wave dashes to get across when the wall first goes down.

I cant describe how amazing is this. The ammount of effort and time that you've put to clear this level is awesome. You gotta have a lot of patience and strength to keep going after so many hours of trial and error. Congratulations, i hope this video gets more views, but at least you have a new sub :)

If you want a recommendation for something to continue your Celesting, the Spring Collab map is great, since it has a number of different tiers of difficulty, each with tons of really varied shortish levels. Beginner is about 7/8A difficulty, Intermediate is about 7/8B difficulty, and I can't speak for the higher difficulties. But if you want to be able to slowly build up to being able to do something like this, I'd recommend that as a starting point.

Nah you just have to wavedash really quick like how heart walls in farewell were bypassed by speedrunners quickly
