Thank you, Stu! You teach great tricks and tecniques, and you give a sense of calm and joy. I'm living the molt difficult and painful time of my life. And you and the joy in yours eyes (and in your heart) are so calming... You remind me that music is a great help when you are feeling so deeply, totally broken, but also that have to start to pratice Mindfulness again. Thank you for this, too. Namaste.
Dear M.R. I am grateful that you join in with my lessons...and am sorry for the difficult time you are going through. I wish you good blessings of solidity and perserverance to weather out the storm. 🙏 Music can certainly take us back to a safe harbour where we can rejuvinate, relax and renew...wishing you all the best, Stu

Love this strum for Oh, my love, my darlng, I hunger for your touch, the long lonely night. Can't remember the song's title, but this is so much fun to do on the ukulele. Thank you, Stu!
I adore this style.
thanks Maryann...I only wish I had a few other singers with me to make the beautiful harmonies associated with this style :-)
Great to learn new fingerpicking !!!
Sweet Rochelle...roll on...and on and on... 😉
I am a newbie and absolutely love your teaching style and approach to learning :-) Just loving your vids for Ukulele. Thank you so much
Great lesson. Nice break out of the movements.

By Marvin Gaye?
Thank you, Stu. Very nice touch to add in!
Glad you like it PJ! Keep on jamming 😃🎶
Thank you😊
Thanks for joining in Len...Have fun adding this to your bag of strum tricks 🙂
Thank you, Stu for more great ideas. This lesson built on the former Doo-Wop lesson unchained my playing. I stopped playing bass almost 30 years ago, but starting playing ukulele in 2021, I kept the alternating index-middle technic on ukulele. After a very few days I was really surprised how much better, faster and easier this is. 🥴
Great to hear Ernst! Happy to know you're developing in your playing...AWESOME :-D
Thank you Stu!
A great tutorial again.
🙏🏻
My pleasure Fred 😃🤙🎶
Thanks for being my teacher!
My pleasure Jordan!
Nice thank you
Thanks very much for watching and joining in An 😊
Super Thanks
Thank you too!
Beautiful! Loves it much much.
That Dm works quite well in the doo wop progression, a nice, subtle shading from the F I'd normally play there-- great video!
Yeah, the F & Dm are interchangable. You can also play an Fm or Fm6 to REALLY pull on the harmonic heart strings...play Dm the 1st 3x thru and then add Fm or Fm6 ;-)
What a great lesson, I love this!
Thank you!
Thanks for watchng Greg! Glad you enjoyed it!
I love this practice so much. Thank you Stuart 🙏🏻
You're so welcome Moli!
Another great lesson. cheers Stu 😊
Thanks Justin...have fun adding this to your strumming bag of tricks 😉🎶🤙
That was a really useful lesson. Thank you for sharing it.
Thanks Jim! Glad it was helpful!
Stu, love adding new techniques to my daily practice. I’ve been working on the fan strum, the chuck, the triplet strum, and the roll for some time now. They are all improving incrementally by sticking with them and being patient. Thanks for your constant reminder to relax and breathe.
Hey Bob, I'm very glad ot hear this from you -- having all of these skills in "rotation" will greatly expand your musical pallette! Good on you -- happy jamming, Stu 😃🎶
Thanks so much Stu. So grateful to add these techniques to my repertoire with lots of practise! You're the man! Happy Easter holiday and Happy Spring. 😊
Thanks for joining in Lisa! WIshing you and yours a happy Easter weekend!
Love this lesson, thank you! Just broke my left wrist so will have to be content practicing right hand techniques for the next few weeks.
I'm sorry to hear of your injury Vak! I hope you heal up soon and fully. Take good care 🙏💕
I'm afraid this is above my paygrade 😄 Perhaps later in life
You can do it! A little roll across the strings & viola! 😊
Hello there! It's possible for bed of roses strumming and fingering please!
Thanks Stu-y! Im a chord player and i keep telling myself i need to learn more chords up the neck, but i just haven't. Do you have a video on chords up the neck? I need to learn some but need some songs to make me practice. Also i learned, quite by accident, the G11. It makes a nice kinda turn around an also adds dimension to a lot of the things inplay
This is a great question...I'm working on a new online course thatw ill "Unlock the Neck" and present a system for playing any chord, anywere -- and use otehr voidicngs in common chord progressions! :-D I'll be announcing it sometime inthe next month or two...
@@UkuleleZen yay!!!! Thank you so much! I have tons of chords committed to memory so i can play with my eyes closed. I often lie in bed playing songs in my head and i can see the chord shapes. Moving up the neck will present challenges to me bc my fingers dont know where to land without thinking. I also have to count up to the frets. Dont like that. So if you can give any tips on teaching oneself to move along the fret board more easily i would appreciate it! I know PRACTICE will be the main course of action.
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching and playing along!
🇯🇵🎶🎵🎼👌🇯🇵
Thank you!! ご参加ありがとうございました!楽しい音楽作り:)
IF you don't have Vampire fingernails then I don't see the harm in doing this with your thumb?
For sure the thumb is great! I mention this in the first part of the video...happy jamming & thanks for watching 🤙
You’re moving too fast for me even at 0.25x speed.
