El Lissitzky AND Maud Gonne, You cant be serious, Surely M,G, wouldnt have known a modern painting if it bit her on the foot, No disrespect to M,G, whom I revere deeply,,,and not just because she was the muse of W,B,Y, She wasnt exactly a fan of Hugh Lane or of the Gregory/Yeats Lane paintings campaign, And she didnt like Ezra Pound who did like avant garde art, If you can really PROVE a connection I will be humbly gobsmacked
