I beg the protest that happened in Kenya, is it violence or peaceful protest, which ever one Kenya own is, that's the type of protest that should be good for Nigeria at this time that everything in Nigeria had gone wrong.

@@okeoja4447 a governor controls the internal affairs of his state which might not have much impact on the entirely country but the president has full control, hence he sheepishly removed subsidy without proper evaluation and ignorantly floated the Naira. That has caused high inflation, naira becoming a laughing stock, transportation being so expensive, imported goods being so expensive because of the to dollars rate.

@@precious-5016 Abeg give me other reasons. You're only repeating sets of talking points. States can generate their own funds and use it to improve the lifes if their citizens. how many states besides Lagos. Rivers .kaduna and Delta can afford to pay their workers without federal allocations? # 2 There's various ways states can improve their IGR'S and in turn put that funds to good use in the areas of infrastructures which in turn would put a lot of ppl back to work and facilitate ease of doing businesses. States can also facilitate massive agriculture by providing and encouraging farming. Abeg stop your nounsesical talking points. Most Govs are very reckless and engages in money waisting projects that don't contribute nothing to their economies. Your assertion that subsidies was recklessly removed is certainly a falacy. It's only folks like u that don't pay attention to govt and only resort to beer parlor rumors that believed subsidies removal was out of the blue. Do I need to remind u Buhari administration already removed subsidies as of JUNE 29TH 2023 as passed in the 2023 fiscal budget? Pls tell me how u remove subsidies without causing inflation? Administration dated back 20 yrs have been warned about subsidies but lacked courage to do bcos of exact problems we are facing today. U can't build a nation without going through pains and surferings my friend. It's like a woman that desires children but don't want to go through pains of labour. Does the govts officials have to cut cost ? ABSOLUTELY. Bcos u can't expect citizens to keep silent in hunger while Govt is buying new jets. SUV'S and all sort of things.

The issue is beyond economic hardship. The wanton looting and reckless spending on frivolities and evident cluelessness and total insensitivity of Tiefnubu is aggravating. This completely crushes the hope that should sustain us to wait for economic policies to turn around. We need responsible , competent and compassionate leadership. APC IS A FRAUD and does not mean well for Nigeria.

Are the youth watching the protests in Kenya, Bangladesh, and some other countries? Many people (youth) were killed. Youth, be careful. Engage in dialogue and intelligent dialogue and make suggestions directly to the president. No doubt things had gone years back. The Semators and Representatives should cut down their earnings of multiple millions of Naira to enable governments to create employment for the masses. Build roads/streets and provide electricity within the states.

Atiku is not been realistic. Every Nigerian understand that they have the right to protest but how well are protest being organized in Nigeria with destruction? Do you encourage an effect because it is guaranteed by the constitution knowing what the consequences are likely to be. This is the point the UN Safety and Security Committee was trying to make which was based on the Endsar' s protect. When Atiku was the Vice President in the country, he probably would have be silent about the right to protest and discourage same action. Saying that this protest is justified because of the clueless nature of the administration is political and inciting. When Tinubu and some members his administration were engaged in protest, it was not nationwide, it was political because they wanted recognition then. I have asked how many of Atiku's children or family members will be participating in the protest? His support for the protest and justification for it and characterizing the administration as clueless show his commitment for the exercise unlike his co-opposition leaders with outright denial of involvement. When SAN Falana comes to the TV Stations to talk about the constitution, it appears that he thinks that Nigerians do not read the constitution therefore, he must of all the thousands of lawyers in Nigeria he is the only one that can cite sections of the constitution. Of course the reason why the police will be at protest location is to protect the citizens to exercise their rights but when the citizens go astray during the process their manipulates into a crime. Since SAN Falana plans to attend he should be vigilant in the location he wishes to protest to ensure that the citizens obey legitimate instructions from the police. Stop means stop. The police will perform their duties also as prescribed by the constitution, the protesters must be aware of that.
