T90 is treated as trash in Ukraine , so I am not sure what our generals are thinking !
Where the hell are you getting the news? Russia majorly used T72 and the Tanks which got thrashed badly were German Leopard.
Tanks are not invincible, you will lose tanks- you can easily replace tanks. All you know is public info, generals have more experience so they know what they are doing
Our generals stated that used poor tactics and has nothing to do with tanks.
Ukraine started using the so called best tank in the world, the American Abrams in Russia last week.
They have lost 3 of them till now and the Russians have mocked them as being overrated tin cans which easily get stuck in the mud.
Tanks are not invincible but considering India's diverse terrains, the T-90 is the best all rounder tank which the Indian Army could have gotten even today in the world.
No other modern tank gives you that combination on weight transport versatility, terrain adaptability, hunter killer stability to aim, NBC protection and the capability to launch fire and forget ATGMs from the tank turret itself.
Russia has mainly lost old Soviet era T-72 and other variants and some T-90s. It is not a major blow to them since they are replacing it in the hundreds, every month.
Even leopards and Abrahams are treated like trash in Ukraine 😂😂, does that mean that those are bad tanks ?? No.
Overall T90-SM is still one of the best tanks in the world. Facts check.
Remember Karan of the 2000s ? This will meet the same fate.
It may. But the conditions now are different than 2002. The Karan or Project EX were idea of DRDO and not the Indian army. This time army has asked for the same.
Also, Karan was fitted with Arjun turret. So, no commission. Now, there will be commission as T90 turret is being used.
ATHARVA is a potential export candidate for Armenia.
I would say just ship these to armenia and get better and newer tanks

Ravi bhai, in our Bengali language, 'ATHARVA' means useless, ie, a person incapable of doing anything. So why did the IA officials choose such a name ?😢
Atharva means wise and knowledgeable. In Bengali, it is also used to refer to old people, because old people are wise and knowledgeable. It just so happens that old people lack many physical capabilities due to old age.
Atherva is a sanskrit word which means purest knowledge
Why India navy don’t have naval strike fighter squadrons on shore based navy or air bases

Actually we have shore based strike fighters.. Jaguar M with American harpoon on gujrat side and mirage 2000 with Exocet.
In South we have su 30mki with brahmos for Indian Ocean. 😊

Pakistan wants good relationship with India.Yes they have problems but they want that to be insignificant and both sides to come together and see working and solving there problems together is the better long term way to improve.You can't be isolationist in today's world.Wether it's terrorism or the wether causing untold destruction both sides need to work together for there mutual benefit.
