- Tour through Disneyland starting with the full rope drop experience. The drive in to the parking structure, Disneyland tram and walk to the gates. Then it's Hyperspace Mountain, Matterhorn, Star Tours, and Astro Orbitor. We'll stop for a new breakfast item (new to me) and a ride down Main Street on The Horse Drawn Streetcar.

Disneyland sure did love their moving ramps. Space Mountain, People Mover, and the one at Haunted Mansion which I hope they never get rid of 🤞🤞
I like how you included the tram. That's one aspect that I haven't experienced since my childhood, since I always stay across the street or on-site.

One if the things i miss the most in tonorrowland (besides the starcade and captain eo) is the television screen in line gor space mountain that had the loop of galactic news and weather. As a kid i never felt bored in line, as corny as the production was

A rainy Saturday here in Maine, is certainly brightened by a Rope Drop Morning from sunny southern California and Disneyland USA!
The good thing about disney in the morning there's places to have breakfast
Now at DCA not many places I think only 2 cappuccino cart and corndog castle
There’s the Starbucks… and we had great (& expensive) lox& bagel to go once from Grand Californian window (inside by the grill I think) That was still lockdown-ish but pretty sure they still have a to-go spot in there. We ate the bagel outside smokejumpers hich wasn’t open yet. Lovely & calm.
Oh wait, there’s also Pim’s, and possibly Flo’s, plus some not great egg cones & stuff in Cars Land (distant memory, maybe it’s better)
Yes, we never sit & eat til after a bit of a rope drop :). So many fams seem to eat a full breakfast earlier, just so not us!

The walk from your car to the tram, riding it and walking to the Main Gate is fantastic, but nothing compares to those first steps into the tunnel and seeing the Plaza in the early morning. Greetings to everyone from Mexico

This Star Tours was different than the one I saw on Adam the Woo’s channel. I know he said their was more than one version in Florida, but this one was the best. I love C 3PO!
As a parent with teens, I’d reverse the order of rope drop so Rise and thunder first. We always do bobsleds and space mountain in the single rider line. But that’s just our preference. Great video! 🎉

Wow. That’s a long trek to get to the ticket booth. Last time I took the tram was when DCA was still a parking lot still in 1979. We typically stay in the one of the good neighbor motels for ease of access. I like Howard Johnson’s bus that drops you off g basically at the front.

The Sound of the Turn Style, Someday be gone. My Favorite Turn Style is that the Matterhorn and the front gate… just have that sound when we get to the front gate and when we put our fingerprint in the machine??? I love that sound😊

We rope dropped Space Mountain and they had us go around the Captain EO theater first and this was back in July 2021; before fast passes/lightning lane.
When you ride Astro Orbiter, you are reminded 12 times of the non-existent People Mover 😞

I wondered how many people didn’t run at rope drop because they were in the background of a fresh baked video? Guarantee good behavior! I think maneuvering popcorn with a camera would be difficult. But I’m not very dexterous!

AO could use the music from the broken satellite dish structure in Tomorrowland. Issue is that it’s to close to the hub.
I can assume that it would not be possible, but the dreamer in me just imagined a new Star Tours simulation ride that actually transported you from Tomorrowland to Batuu in small group pods. Yes, I am meaning underground. How cool would that be? If designing a whole new park, these underground simulation rides that take you from one portal to another (one land to another) would be a new way of park travel than ground level traversing...
Like howarts express transports you from one park to the other ? In Universal Orlando! That would be awesome 😢

I’m new to parking at Disneyland and I will be going the 24th of this month can you please give me tips? What time to get to the parking lot, which parking lot is the best to park at thank you! I love your channel:)
I have used lightning Lane first thing in the morning at space mountain if I plan on only riding at once during the day. Sometimes I like to hit up Disneyland at rope drop and do some lightning Lane and Fantasyland and then hop to California Adventure at 11:00. So if I'm trying to maximize my first 3 hours at Disneyland it doesn't hurt to shave 5 to 20 minutes off space mountain depending on the morning. Sometimes More if it has been a early entry morning for the hotels.
We rope dropped yesterday and the same scenario of a longer wait at Space, plus Matterhorn was still down. Nevertheless a wonderful day at the park!!!
Just an idea for Hyperspace mountain, the old arcade X-wings should so somewhere inside the que like have some sort of "Show" like star tours. I also will not accept movies 7-9 as being the props go old skool with a k for throw back!
I wonder if Astro Orbiter doesn't have music because of how close it is to Main Street. It may be in a position that would interfere with the main Street to Tomorrowland music transition.
What the heck are space whales? I guess there is lots of catching up I need to do, but that part of Star Tours did not look good to me. Thank you for your reporting, David!
Space whales were introduced into Star Wars cannon in the animated series “ Star Wars Rebels” and also appeared in the “Asoka” show. They were probably in the books or graphic novels first- but I’m not entirely certain about that!. Cheers!.
I wonder if the cast members get confused when they keep hearing guests screaming “FRESH BAKED” randomly

I love that we are all following your suggestions for the beginning of the day mountain and Rope drop.., what I don’t understand is why you’re not doing single rider at hyper space Mountain as well as single rider at Matterhorn right when they open.?
How do you decide when to do the main parking? I had the impression you always used Toy Story. Love your videos - your rope drops are spot on!

TBH, I wasnt really impressed with the waffle cristo. I had high expectations that it would be similar to a waffle sandwich I had in Irvine years ago. But I also didnt try it with the jam so maybe thats what was missing! And my 4'11 self finished a whole full order 😅
There were so many ads in this video that I had to quit watching, at the halfway point. CZcams is gonna lose viewers for their creators with the number of ads I've been seeing these days.

Let me give a huge shout out to the Cast Members at all the roller coaster type rides in the park. I am 70 and walk with a cane..they always hold it for me until I disembark the ride..so nice to me.
