    A home buyer is more safe in Norway, because the seller is responsible for all hidden fault for ten years. To avoid big economic responsibility and loss the seller buy an insurance for it. This law in Norway

    Personal savings is not considered taxable income. It is not income. You just have to pay the transfer fees/exchange rate fees. Income is something you would earn, savings which you have is not income even if it is in a different country. The tax that you may have to pay is on goods you own. So if you own a car or jewelry and you didn't declare that on the goods to follow list, you have to pay a tariff on that if you bring it to Canada which is an import tax.

    I would also add Property tax which for first year is part of mortgage and then you you have to pay annually. Property tax is around 1% .

    Dti is not 35%. It should be max 44% there are 2 things gds abd tds tds is total domestic service ratio it should not exceed 35% and GDS gross domestic service ratio should not exceed 35% that pertains to total housing expenses vs income.
