i do none of that in my daily job as a concept artist in a very big studio just 5%
...when i see that i wouldn't hire anybody , i see no design , no iterations ,, no problem solving ,no sketches , no drawings ,,no orthographics , no call outts , just pretty images that are useless and that takes forever to do in 3d

Thanks for your point of view, but we do see big value in this area which could help students to land a job as keyframe concept artist for both movies and games. This is not about making pretty picture alone; this is about story telling which involves Deeper understanding of telling your stories, developing your world. Even when doing keyframes there is design thinking ,problem solving Involved.
This job you may not do callouts, but there are other areas you need to workout. Every job has different goals and outcomes. Studio's still values these tasks.
you are just pitching your point of view and your experience.
We still value your thoughts and comments, but don't de value other people's work just because you didn't work on the other side.
This mentorship taught by leo avero goes indepth on every areas like designing characters, environments, fundamentals of story telling and much more. We feel this course has so much information and value to give it to students.

Question. Are keyframes considered illustrations or concept art? I'm asking because I see so many comments from pros here on CZcams and reddit about how Illustration and concept art aren't the same. I always thought concept art was the not polished pre-production sketches dealing with designs iterations of the environment or characters, while illustration is the post-production final pretty picture. Does this differ from movies or games? or from company to company? I'm lost.
