Ooty is really a very beautiful hill station no doubt.
I am staying in coimbatore 90 kms from ooty, I have traveled more than 100 times to ooty nilgris in past 35 years. Nilgris biosphere is 5500 sq kms forest area; 55% in tamil nadu, 30% in karnataka, 15% kerala. Its 2nd most important forests nature area after Amazon, infact outside ooty town there are 40 to 50 beautiful spots spread out. The roads are amazing awesome great to enjoy when u ride in bike. But ultimate natures best is nilgris biosphere. Heaven on earth. Its ultimate
Yeah, Ooty is a very beautiful hill station in India. It is in the state of Tamil Nadu. Except Pykara Falls, I have seen all other places there. Ooty has got lots of boarding schools, which are really very good in quality but expensive and most of the students are from rich families. Ooty being a tourist place has lots and lots of hotels. Food is available aplenty and in great variety. All in all, Ooty is a kind of must visit place for Indian tourists. Most of the frequent Indian travellers must have seen Ooty at least once.

I visited Ooty more than three times.. Lovely Place. They have not covered most of the places like Tea Estate, Shooting Spots, suicide point, the Road ways etc.

More than all the sights of Ooty is the smell that comes from mountain slopes covered with damp eucalyptus, pine cones and pine leaves and there is drizzle and mist. The weather is very cold despite the occasional sunshine. Walking on that ground is like walking on a carpet made by nature. To experience this you should go to Lovedale, one station before Ooty. It is the highest point in the Nilgiris. There is an international school called ''Lawrence School''. When you walk into that school, you will be walking into a school in England. It is a different dimension. Everything in this school is British - the buildings, the pathways, the flower beds, the trees belong to the colonial era, when children of British officials, sons and daughters of rich people like Mahararajas, Rajas, Nawabs and film stars sent their children to study in this school. Entry to tourists may be restricted, but one can always try. It is also called the ''Lovedale School''.

I have visited Ooty in 1990. I have seen shooting of movie jamairaja of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit at Ooty lake. Botanical garden is also famous for most of hindi movie for shooting of songs. The shooting of chhaiya chhaiya song of srk movie dil se was shoot at this train route.
You can cover Mordabad, it's called Brass city of India, In whole world handmade brass products are exported from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, thanks.
Undoubtedly one of the best places to visit.

Pykara has a big lake where you can take a boat cruise and there is also a hydro-electric dam - Pykara Dam. Mudumalai Sanctuary for Tigers is vibrant because at times you can see the Tigers when you are traveling on the road from Ooty to Mysore. The narrow gauge Ooty train is among the few such trains ( others being the Darjeeling Train and the Simla train). Ooty is really a must see destination in South India. Also they did not tell you that in the summer there is Horse Racing in Ooty - so it has all kinds of exciting stuff during the peak Summer tourist season!

Botical nahi! 😀 It is Botanical garden. The commentator was too bad ,he didn't know what it is. Rutes leading Ooty too is superb either from TN, Karnataka or fom Kerala. Ooty is really good to visit during summer months. And gardens r beautiful too. There r many parks there. I happened to see elephant herd, deer, Monkeys while traveling to Ooty from Mysore . Thrilling experience to see Wild animals.

In fact the road trip from from bangalore to mysore to ooty via bandipur forests 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲 is trip worth travelling as u can. Spot lots deers, wild bison, 🐘wild elephants and. If you are lucky u go with the forest department arranged trip into forest u may see 🐅🐯 and other wild animals there is forest lodge one can book and stay it's karnataka state there is also neighborhood ie 4 to 5 kms u have madumali forest dep of tamil nadu where you can stay there to . Further the road is very scenic too from Mysore bandipur side
