Cracker Barrel NEW Spring Menu (Fresh Berry French Toast Bake & Haddock Is Back)

- Join us at Cracker Barrel to see the new items for the Spring Menu. Cracker Barrel has a new Fresh Berry French Toast Bake that we wanted to try and they brought back the Fried Fish Dinner featuring Haddock. They also have Chicken Tenders and Country Lemonade to add to this menu. We will go and show you these items and you can decide if you want to go here and try them.

Great choice of the fish. Whenever I go to Cracker Barrel, I order for lunch or supper, I order the trout. It is always excellent. It would be great if they carried another fish too.

I have enjoyed Cracker Barrel and other restaurants over the years. However as the world continues to change I have a fear of restaurants and who is cooking my food in the restaurant kitchen. Most of us with Southern roots enjoy a hot southern meal. After a long day at the VA with a loved one I just wanted a hot southern meal I did not have to cook. I enjoy Cracker Barrel’s selections. I enjoy the North and South Carolina locations I think it is important to have a clean restaurant, clean bathroom, refills on drinks. and napkins without asking and a doggy bag with mints or chocolates. Cold food and over salted food is a recipe for getting Ill. My experience pre pandemic, I loved Cracker Barrel. Today my experience at the Maryland Bay Bridge location. One of my favorite spots pre pandemic, today I had a scrappy piece of meatloaf, cold turnips, biscuits hard as a rock, and late corn muffins which were cold on
arrival. I thought I was getting punked. like the tv show. I asked them for a better piece of meatloaf. They gave me a nice piece after asking. But the entire meal was problematic. The waitress seemed fairly nice we told her the corn muffins were cold and she touched them and said I will get them heated. My Maryland and South Carolina roots tells me that was unsanitary. I am not sure if touching our food was appropriate. After our concerns they offered a discount. I have enjoyed Cracker Barrel and many other restaurants. Just afraid to eat at restaurants because ppl are so vindictive and the world seems to get more twisted. Overall in the past I have had good experiences with Cracker Barrel. My favorite location is in South Carolina. As I age I just think I prefer to cook my own food when I am able.
We are sorry you had a bad experience. We have always enjoyed our food at Cracker Barrel at this location. But this time, we didn't think the sides were as good as normal. A lot of things have changed since 2020. We appreciate you watching and commenting. 😎😎

Just went yesterday with my family. My grandson had the new chicken tenders along with the cherry lemonade, and he loved it. I had my traditional country fried steak.But next time I'm definitely getting the tenders! My favorite side is the hash brown casserole.

To me Cracker Barrel has gone down hill... they used to have large portions and great service. Now the portions are small and the service is very slow. And I agree with another poster, they used to have a haddock meal that had a whole haddock filet that was just killer good. Cracker Barrel is off our visit list.

Always loved Cracker Barrel,chicken in dumplings was my favorite with fried apples,Hershey farms is coming along really good,they have a lot of it up,should be finished I believe sometime this summer,bird in hand restaurant is temporarily being open at the old revere tavern that closed,they will be using that place until their restaurant is remodeled they say sometime in may it will be back open.

That is the Problem with a lot of Cracker Barrels these days. There are just so many of them there is no way they can maintain quality like they used to. When I first started going to Cracker Barrel over 30 years ago there were only a handful of them and I never got a bad meal. Having said that looking at your meal John it made me want to go there today but it’s Sunday so I think I’ll hold off for now. Thanks for the trip though always like seeing you guys go to Cracker barrel!!

We don't have a cracker barrel around us so we can't try any of these items, but they look good. We tried the KFC blackberry lemonade today, it was a pretty color but didn't have a ton of flavor, my husband drank it but it was way too sweet for me. They always have a great selection of goodies in the store, maybe it's good I can't get to Cracker Barrel without over an hour ride. Thanks for sharing your time there with us today.
Thanks for letting us know what you thought about the blackberry lemonade. Last year, when we tried it, we couldn't taste the blackberry flavor. This year, they put more blackberry puree in it. they do have good food, especially breakfast, I hate french toast however, but that fish sounded so good!! especially cooked with the cornmeal which has a much better taste than batter. here in the south central we cook fish with cornmeal, season salt, white pepper, and 1 bay leaf, perfect recipe...Their spring gifts are so gorgeous but pricey!! One thing i love when i have been over to America is the french toast with strawberries and strawberry butter. Sadly recently i have discovered i may be wheat intolerant which sucks but i am trying to find places that do gluten free American foods / Diner foods here in the North West of the UK.. i will find it..because that looks amazing..
A lot of people have trouble tolerating wheat. I hope you find some restaurants that have gluten-free on their menus.😎😎

A testament of how good cracker barrel food usually is it's hard to go to one regardless of the area where you might be that usually isn't crowded and you having to wait a while just to be seated and enjoy your meal I personally really liked their fried catfish before it was discontinued still trying to figure that out considering how popular it seemed to be with everyone including myself.. another great video by you guys keep up the good work.. like that ball cap you're wearing I'm a Harley guy myself love mine.

I just looked where they make Red Ribbon Pennsylvania Punch, since we live here in Pa. It is Natrona bottling co. in Natrona Heights about an hour from our house. Would love to go there and try those pies. Thanks for sharing!!!
