As much as I am proud of Chinese history, let’s be fair here. The Greek civilisation is older by a little and the Danubian civilisation is also much older, both are in Europe. The Greek civilisation knowledge is still alive today and along with the Roman civilisation forms the foundation of most modern Western civilisation. If we are to judge age based on Recorded History, then Chinese recorded history starts around 5th century BC so did the Greeks. Also let’s not forget that Chinese people is referred to as Han people only around 200 BC while the Greeks have called themselves Greeks more than a thousand years earlier. It is obvious today that Northern Han and Southern Han people in China today have vastly different looks which means from a genetic perspective, we aren’t actually the same ethnicity but we all refer to ourselves as Han today.
Western countries also have critical thinking and analysis otherwise they would not have contributed and defined modern mathematics and science. The issue here is Imperialism not culture. Let’s not become the proud arrogant westerners of today thinking we are better than them because that is how we will end up like them. That said, there are many extremely knowledgeable westerners today, especially in the field of Mathematics which Professor Yau Tsing Tung in his keynote at Tsinghua just a few weeks ago, pointed out that China does not have enough mathematicians today vs the West to provide significant contributions to the advancement of Mathematics. Mathematics as we all know is the basis of all knowledge. Professor Yau is one of the few ethnic Chinese Mathematicians of modern China that has contributed significantly to the advancement of Mathematicians, we should be glad that he’s come home to educate our next generation.

Every government on Earth - even democratic ones - have at one time or another, made mistakes and some of them are immensely huge that has cost thousands of millions of lives. To point fingers at one country or two and singling them out for criticism is disingenuous and foolish. What one has to do is look for the RECOVERY stages after the mistakes have been made - how quickly, how much and how far - has the repair work been carried out and did the government learn from the lessons to never have those mistakes repeated again? For anyone to constantly harp on the mistakes that happened but ignore the recovery and progress made after, is just biased prejudice and even racially motivated.

Why? It can be simply explained by what Xi and Wang Yi kept telling the Americans: "If you get the first button wrong when putting on a shirt, then every step that follows will be wrong." The US government's assumption about China is wrong. As Wang Yi famously told Blinken and Sullivan in Alaska: "... you want to speak to China in a condescending way from a position of strength?" Among all the predictions made by the West, there is perhaps one such 'prediction' that might have been right. From 2023 onward, they had been predicting a collapse in China's stock markets. As this narrative was merely used as a pretext to sell off the domestic markets through QFII and RQFII, they did achieve a big selldown of the Chinese stock indices. For instance, the Shanghai Stock Index fell from 3300 to a low of 2700 in February, Since then, the said stock index has rebounded back to 3100.

I think bad-mouthing China has been a career for a few generations now! I don't think ANY of this literature referred to visible reality, actual statistics, a street view such as you see in a thousand videos of the famous markets thronging with customers looking at a hundred kinds of fried foods and snacks and produce and meat... the astonishing fact anyone can see that there are fat people on the street in China! EU are way easier to predict.. all you need to do is to listen and see what the usa is saying or doing. Thats exactly whta the EU will do right to the exact wording (Narrative)..
Anyway. Their prediction always wrong because it is actually not a prediction. It is a narrative created by some top scholar or expert

The only thing this video gets right is that people look at the world through the lens of their own personal experiences.
But in China's case that's hardly relevant.
If China actually made good decisions and has a healthy economy and society, it'd be possible to accuse the West of being ignorant.
But in China's case, the CCP is predictably childish in both its paranoid and inferior view of the world and can be counted on repeatedly to make bad decisions that sacrifice everyone including the Chinese people in favor of preserving the CCP's position as the single party leader of the country and repository of all the nation's wealth.
And despite this video's accusations of US selfish and ignorant motives and that anything published in China can be trusted, the US has been actually very generous offering help to China over the past couple years although it's not the kind of help China wants. Blinken and Yellen have privately offered plenty of advice how China can fix its economic problems and possibly to revive Chinese Consumer demand. Although nothing has been officially published about private talks, China has revealed plenty by public comments and press conferences after the meetings. China is not willing to change from its manufacturing centric, export driven economy, and more recently is not willing to open up alternatives for Chinese wealth accumulation other than to throw more money at property development.
    As usual,
the CCP can be counted on to make bad decisions that lead to ruin instead of heeding advice to operate and behave like typical market driven economies practicing basic principles like making only enough product that can be sold instead of making so much stuff China is dumping product everywhere across the globe and getting everyone mad at China. Does it make sense to make only things that can be sold? Only China doesn't do that both at home and abroad.

Again, another China "expert" has landed...LOL It is so easy to detect these "experts" because once they opened their mouths, they got almost everything wrong about China.😅
So you want a 4000~5000 years old civilization to listen to a 247 years old crumbling country? 🤣
A tip for you, study the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire, also the Rise and Fall of the British Empire...perhaps you might learn something useful in your life for once.

To say that foreigners get China wrong because they ignorantly look at China through the lens of their own personal experiences in a much different country and culture is entirely stupid.
Not stupid because it isn't true but that same observation and accusation can be applied to the CCP equally and is the fundamental reason why the CCP is frustrated at failing repeatedly on the world stage.
China is a failure at diplomacy internationally so has resorted to forming BRICS which is a hodgepodge of misfits mostly comprised of sanctioned and excluded countries of the world plus countries looking for personal gain from anyone who is willing to give them money.
Xi and his current leadership seek to overturn the current World Order that enabled China's astronomical rise out of 3rd world agrarian poverty for about half its population only because China could trade with others without fear of blocked seaways but now current leadership wants to personally control seaways to the exclusion of other nations.
China will fail because the rest of the developed world won't stand for blocked passage and loss of maritime rights.

Whose trade passages? China’s… why would THEY block themselves?
Tell me you believe Russia blew NS2, too?
You need to watch today’s video.
      Out in a cpl hours.
The next video will be o China dumping 53B UST dollars… largest ever, followed by Switzerland dumping 22B UST this quarter. Who HAS TO BUY IT? The Fed… how to pay? Printing money. What does that do? Inflation in America.
      Wake up.

"China is a failure at diplomacy internationally..."
Please define Internationally. The US, Canada, Australia plus EU are not THE WORLD. There are 195 countries in this world if you dont know how to count.
Last time I checked, European and American politicians are rushing to meet President Xi in China...😅 I wonder why.

      What nonsense are you typing
The U.S. soft power globally is way lower than China’s
One only has to acknowledge the fact that it was China that mediated the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia
Then there is Blinken on his continuous visits to China begging them to support sanctions against Russia
I suggest you start examining reality instead of that fantasy you live in
What a total buffoon you are
