    Hey Man! THANK YOU for posting this. You made things 100 times easier to get started compared to the directions. I plugged everything in, followed you step-by-step and she's working like a champ! Greetings from Cincinnati, Ohio!

    I have 5 ink bird temp and humidity controllers. The sun room they are set up in stays between 74f and 80f, and from 55% to 60% rh year round. Very precise controllers. They are probably 5ish years old and still work perfectly. I highly recommend these ❤❤

    THANK YOU!! I bought an ITC 308 for my small temporary greenhouse to get my seeds started; it gets too cold at night here still. The "instructions" did not explain HOW to set it up. Thank you for making it very clear!

    I had the WiFi enabled one and it was glitchy until we had a catastrophic failure. We used it for hatching quail and lost around 100 birds. Since then we switched to the Inkbird itc-608t and have a backup never had any issues with either. We use for fermentation as well and love them. Thought I’d mention it If you have issues with this one.

    Hi,
    Would you kindly answer this question please before I purchase an Inkbird ITC-308.
    I have a Klarstein Thermo electric humidor to store my cigars. It is cooling only and does not have an heating element. The temp range for cooling is 12 to 18 degrees centigrade, that is the only settings on its digital thermostat. I need it to not start cooling until the internal temp reaches 21c.
    I have a small heat pad in there to get the temp up to 21c but have to have the humidor unplugged otherwise the cooling kicks in and takes it back to 18c.
    My question is will your Inkbird product override the internal thermostat of my humidor and not allow the cooling fans to kick in unless the temp exceeds 21c. Will the unit still work and kick in when the temp exceeds 21c even though it was set at the factory to only have an adjustment on its digital thermostat of 12 to 18c.
    I can say that the digital readout does show if for example I have deliberately allowed the unit to get to 25c by unplugging the unit and turning up the heat pad, then plugging the unit in and it shows the 25c on the readout and then the cooling kicks and takes it back to 18C.
    Very frustrating I just want a temp of 21c constant by leaving my heat pad on and the unit kicking in and cooling back to 21c when it exceeds this temp.
    Really hopeing your product can help and looking forward to your reply.

      I know the inkbird will control the heat pad perfectly, but I'm unsure about it overriding the internal controller. I would contact Inkbird directly. They will be able to tell you. I wish I was more helpful.

    Great videos! I am currently building the spirit filter. One question I have is I noticed my bigger pvc is foam core. will this still work?

      I'm not sure. I would probably avoid it to be safe.

    Hey man I appreciate the review.. What is your experience with flaked corn maze would you recommend using enzymes? Thanks

    • @StillnTheClear
      @StillnTheClear  Před 11 měsíci +1

      What's great about flake corn is that it has already been gelatinized so you can start mashing in at 160 instead of having to go to 190 like with unflaked corn. That said, it doesn't seem to have as much flavor as regular corn to me. I do recommend using liquid enzymes. I put them in all my all-grain kits that I offer because they really make things simpler.

    The probe isn't waterproof. Don't just drop it into your mash folks, that is bad advice. Lots of reviews on channels for these recently, they are obviously doing a push to get some airtime.
