So, I'm 17 years old, about to be a senior in highschool... I turned away from God and I've been struggling with depression, anxiety, and a toxic ex. I didn't want to continue anymore and I felt like no one cared about me. I was about to give up today and this song popped up on my recommended and I turned it on and I just felt the holy spirit enter my bedroom and my soul feels at peace. I'm coming back to Jesus. Yes!! You have so much to live for, believe me! I'm in my late 30's and can tell you, no matter how rough it gets, God already knows and He is there. Even when it doesn't feel like it.
I recently came out of a "lukewarm" season myself, battling health stuff, depression, etc. But God lovingly convicted me of not repenting, not forgiving, etc. I am so thankful he loves us enough to discipline and rescue us. It's wonderful when we remember Jesus is always here, and always will be. That peace you felt in your bedroom was the peace that the bible says surpasses all understanding. That's how amazing it is. 🥰
in Galatians 5:1 it says "For FREEDOM Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery." It sounds like you're aware of some things/people in your life who bring you down. (Been there!) Surrender it all at his feet. Surround yourself with godly people who will spur you on in your growth. Setup boundaries with certain toxic individuals as needed. Stay in the Word. I personally like to focus on maybe one or two chapters at a time and highlight (using colored pencils) verses that stick out. I also enjoy just listening to worship music. Spending that time with God makes all the difference. 😊❤️

Maybe you feel hopeless sometimes, maybe you feel darkness in your path but believe me, light is in your path because Jesus is here. Let your stress out, take to jesus, pray more, let yourself out! I hope this little message helps you and do not stress over school too! I'm a Uni student so I get your pain from schoolwork, but pray more and you'll feel different again!

I was confused and hate myself all my life, then I heard Jesus Gospel from a comic. When I was at my lowest I wanted to end my life and I called out to Jesus, I was a buddhist at the time and I had no hope yet I gave God a try and begged him and confessed Jesus (I had to forsake my own life, my family and friends) from the Gospel in that comic and he healed me, delivered me from demons and I felt peace like a child seeing snow for the first time. I begged God not to send me back into the world and let me sleep in this peace forever. And then God sent me back to Earth, I knew he wanted me to use my testimony and do his will either preaching the Gospel or use the talent he gave me which is through song. May God Bless you Jordan, seek him always and his Spirit will live in you and we do not need the flesh, the will of God's spirit will lead us.
