Thank you! We currently don't have plans to record a studio version. This was from a rehearsal we did for a Bjork tribute show where we played a set of Bjork tunes. But perahps someday we can record a studio version.
There’s so much of personality of your band in this cover… this was out of the earth, just the same as the bjork’s version, but still very differently. Lovely. Keep going guys!
This is my favorite track, the guitars and drums sound 'natural', but a bit loud. Vocals sometimes feels 'drowned' (maybe its due the loudness?), but that aside, it's an amazing cover. A comment mentioned APC and I can hear the resemblance, maybe that's why I'm fond of it.
I had no idea I would find you guys searching for pagan poetry covers but I'm glad I did. This arrangement is so phenomenal I have to check out your other stuff
We thought about doing a proper studio recording of the tune, but as of yet it hasn't happened. This is just a rehearsal captured on a cell phone for a bjork tribute show we played. The sound quality is what it is. This was recorded in a basement with cement walls and no sound proofing of any kind so the sound is at the mercy of those conditions.
There are actually two guitars happening. Eric is in the shot and Lou is to the left hidden in the shadows. Eric is playing the main part through a Suhr Strat into a Rivera Chubster with a TC Electronic delay pedal. Lou is doing the E-bow and supporting chords and outro solo through a Les Paul Jr. into a Fender Deluxe with use of various modulation effects.
I generally don’t find many covers I like . Especially someone covering björk. Her music is a hard bar to reach. This was very good , very well done.
Thank you!
I'm a big Bjork fan and I can say that this is so cool
This is the best cover of this song I’ve heard! Would you guys be able to upload a clearer studio version or potentially upload something to Spotify?

And playing bass while you sing?! Fucking Fantastic Cover!
Thank you!
The vocalist did so well and added their own emotional flare

You really should record it and put it on streaming. By far the best cover I know, equal to the Further Seems Forever version for me 👏

Best pagan poetry cover
Awesome cover. I love the song. Greetings from Brazil.
Beautiful cover! I thought it was going to be instrumental initially but when the vocals started, I had goose bumps! Super well done guys!!

Thanks! Pagan Poetry is a great song, and it was a fun tune to cover for sure!
this timeless masterpiece can be born each time under new genres and always be new. that is the greatness of bjork. bravi
Just musically this makes me think of La Dispute (random comparison) but the guitars/drum mix sounds a lot like their Somewhere album to me.
I love that they just… jam away.
fucking awesome
It's like post-rock Björk I love this
Wow 🤩 Normally I really hate every Björk-cover. But THIS took me on a ride, really awesome 👏 Wich songs else did you play on your Björk-tribute?
It was a while ago now, but I think we played Human Behavior, Hunter, Pagan Poetry, Possibley Maybe, Planet, and Hidden Place
@@Nasis01 Nice! Especially Planet 🌍 ❤️
めちゃかっこいい
Omg this is awesome guys!! It sounds like postrock man, super cool.
My God is soooooo good
Amazing! Thank you for sharing :)
Amazing, i love it

Awesome pagant poetry covers
The besr cover of "Pagan Poetry" i've heard
This is awesome! Do you guys have like an official version or something?
Thank you! This is the only version we currently have. We might attempt to record a studio version at some point.
Please
Awesome! Was wondering how this would be done.
Sounds like a perfect circle minus the vocals kinda
Was there ever a high quality studio version of this? The cover is soooo good but the sound quality is kind of bad

@@Nasis01 Thanks :)
If this were just the instrumental of be giving high marks. Nobody should try converting Bjork vocals, ever.
