Do you think those gold arches are sturdy ?

I would say they are light-duty. Strong enough to hold balloons, florals, and a neon sign. Especially if you sandbag the feet. I wouldn't hang a chandelier from it or use it in a windy location. For the price, they are versatile and easy to transport but don't expect perfect construction.
