They picked Tracy on purpose to kill the show. They were contractually obligated to make season 13, and the producers were pissed off about not having Hinson, so they picked the worst person they could think of on purpose. The writing is lazier, the jokes are stale, it seems as if they let Tracy himself write most of the material. They gave up. This was their way of telling Adult Swim to kick rocks.
