Is L’industrie Pizzeria Worth The Hype? NYC's BEST PIZZA?

- New York City is one of the pizza capitals of the world. With so many iconic and legendary pizzerias in NYC, it's really saying something if L’industrie Pizzeria consistently is touted as one of the best pizzas in NYC, and the most trending NYC pizza spot in the past few years.
For a while, L’industrie Pizzeria in Brooklyn was a hidden gem and Brooklyn's best kept secret, if not NYC's best hidden gem pizza spot. Most foodies knew L’industrie Pizzeria's flagship Brooklyn location as a spot to get a fresh burrata slice, zesty red sauce pizzas, and some of the best square slices in the city.
L’industrie Pizzeria is not just acclaimed by locals these days, it is also critically acclaimed. Many critics, such as Eater, tout say L’industrie Pizzeria as the best pizza in New York City and even one of the best restaurants in NYC overall. What's telling is L’industrie Pizza opened a new L’industrie Pizzeria West Village location. The West Village is a food mecca in of itself and that location is also critically acclaimed, so perhaps all the critical and local hype is warranted!
Is L’industrie Pizzeria legit and is L’industrie Pizzeria the best pizza in NYC? We'll find out together!

Congratulations UA Easts for going full time as a CZcams content creator. I enjoy your reviews and wish you much success.
Yeah, it's so great that yet another person is posting CZcams videos instead of contributing something to society.
@@mikeymutual5489And yet you’re here watching and commenting. What are YOU contributing to society?
@@TheLanard That's right. I can watch and comment because I spend my days contributing to society. What is the point of your comment again? Oh wait, there isn't one - you just thought you would be clever.
@@mikeymutual5489 you forgot to answer the question what are these contributions to society you think you're making?
@@hu_b It's called doing something meaningful instead of living on CZcams begging for clicks and likes.
Getting recognized on the streets is a big milestone haha - love the content, keep it up UA!
Why don’t you have more subscribers!!! It’s driving me crazy, you are one of the best food CZcamsrs out there
The best and most thorough!
As someone who has frequently commented about eating the food while hot, this was excellent. Thank you UA for a great review!
Excited to hear you're moving on to doing this full time. Enjoy the videos especially late at night when im procrastinating work. keep up the good work!
I've been waiting for this video - fantastic as always! Hope to see more NYC pizza and steak reviews in the future. Congrats on going full time as well!
OMG that Burrata Pizza looked so so good! I have never been there before but it looks amazing. (And I actually really liked the music playing in the background there lol). I also thought it was super cool you got recognized out in the street for a previous video. Way to go!
You are the best UA!!!! I´m your fan!... wonderful background music at the pizza place!
So yum!
Funny vid
Loved the music at L’Industrie
Thanks UA. L'industrie is going on my pizza bucket list! 🍕
I'm glad you checked this out, brother. I did L'Industrie in BK on the 1st of the month. Really good!
Glad you got to visit Williamsburg
Always pressing like before watching, keep on going bro
Great review UA. Congrats on 40K subscribers. You're creeping up there. Hope to see you pass 100K before too long.
Great Video like every time❤🎉
I hope I can get a vote of confidence like that!
Incredible video! Congrats
Love that crunch!😊
Nice video, good luck on the channel.
Hope it works out for you now that your doing CZcams full time.
2k+ 👍! Mmmmmm 🍕! Sure do enjoy your detailed description of eat item you review. Also describing your experience of each place you review. I probably won't be able to make it to the places you've been but it feels like I've been there too thanks UA!
Keep up the great work UA
Great review UA thank you..
good stuff UA. Down to earth, frank and honest. You're a champ.
His name is ua not Frank
@@PeeBurps-gk7cuwtf😂 he didn't call him frank.. is English your first language honest question?
Good review. Exactly the points I like to make about pizza. Light hearted and non pretentious.
Hey UA. I love all your videos I’m a huge fan. Can you start reviewing more kosher restaurants. All the best. Keep up your amazing work. God bless.
"Ohhhh, it's so good, I can't stop!!" 😂 UA, you're the best - great review.
my mom and sister said they saw you today, I'm subscribed and nice vids!
you had me at the first crunch... that square looked yums!
Definitely would like to see him compare with Prince Street too. Prince Street is really good
Good review
Nice review
Another awesome review, UA! That square looked damn near perfect! I'll agree that burrata is a bit wet for a slice, I'd rather just have it plain. Maybe I'll get there, but my ex is from Brooklyn, so I just avoid the whole borough🤣
Another great review UA!!!
Ignore the haters…..you’re becoming more popular and these guys come outta the woodwork. They have nothing better to do.
Sorry about your Eagles (and my Dolphins).
❤
Enjoy your videos! Thank you
Yeah bro ! Everyone loves a great pizza 🍕 😋 ! You're in the right city , thanks for sharing bro ! From Florida
Definitely lots of bad pizza in NYC, but thank God, there are many so much better!
That cup n char high quality pepperoni definitely makes a difference! Great review!
I'm staying up the way from there next week, will definitely be checking it out
I see you working UA, keep it up you are doing a great job. Go for your dreams buddy.
Hit up Prince Street Pizza. Their square slice with pepperoni was seriously hyped the last time I was in NYC. Although times change, and that was 5 years ago! Keep up the good work 👏
Fantastic video, UA! That pizza looked insanely good. Hope you ignore the haters in the comments. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the music but your reviews are so awesome, that if you like it, I’m cool!
Sounds like you should create a new soundtrack for him 😀
French viewer here. Just want to say that you NAILED that pronunciation "L'industrie Pizzeria", I just started watching the video and WOW you said that like a real french person.
Hey I love your channel.
Will you do a review on Cuts and Slices in Brooklyn.
I hear there known for oxtail and specialty pies.
As a local who has been a fan of L'industrie for a while and have had my fair share of slices around the city (from other hyped places too) I can 100% confirm this spot is the real deal. Glad to see they're getting the recognition they deserve and are able to open up some more locations!
Really like the channel $$$$man
always love to see a new video 😊 would you consider doing more interesting vegetarian places?
Damn, my mouth is actually watering. That slice looks and definitely sounds amazing. But I agree "best" is always personal preference, especially pizza.
Hey UA, nice review. The pizza looked great. I like the background music by the way. Sorry abbot the Eagles though.
you're blowing up UA!
For me, that cheese needs to be more evenly distributed. Not just 2 blobs. That crust does look very good.
They do a great pizza! I also rec their housemade soft serve-so, so refreshing!!
Sorry about your Eagles this year! But great food review!
I was here a few weeks ago, had no idea they opened in the Village - it was awesome. Next door is Village Square also, highly recommended as well.
Village Square is amazing too!
Yes it's on my list as well! I will be back soon to try it
sorry about the loss UA. Great season for all of the injuries and changes they had to deal with. My Lions will avenge your Eagles next week!
I'll pass on the burrata, but that pepperoni square looked fantastic.
The Burrata is where its at. The creaminess with crispy crust has a great mouth feel
Finally a Lindistrie video !
I really like L'Industrie, what they do to prep the dough takes work. I'm amazed with what they do with an Electric Oven.
For sure! The crispiness yet airiness of the dough was incredible
What makes you think its electric, just because it has digital controls?
It's electric because I've been there to both their locations and asked, maybe you should go yourself too@@Joseph1NJ
@@Joseph1NJ No, because its LITERALLY an electric oven. lmfao.
@@devynyates1929 That's weird. I would assume that's super expensive to heat as opposed to gas.
you could say it is personal opinion but some opinions are more correct than others. Lol. The hot and cold contrast of fresh vs melted cheese is absolutely amazing and is the defining characteristic of their pizza style. Their other slices with fresh ricotta is also amazing.
I was there not that long ago and only cuz my mom told me about it on the internet what a coincidence u made a video of the place after I went for the first time lol
That square pizza looks fantastic!
Try the white slice and fig jam and bacon next time, life-changing white slices.
Sweet and salty is a great combination as well as the crispy texture of the crust works well!
The crunch!
The L'Industrie slice has a lot going for it overall, but my main problem is that there's not enough cheese. I prefer Funzi's or Lucia's. I highly recommend you try both of those.
that square slice looked perfect to me!
Leopard spotting is really a term used only for the cornicione of Neapolitan pizza. What you are referring to is just char.
Try the new baggios on 7th Avenue that just opened. Been a fan since they were in fort Lee. It's my #1
Glad to see that a thicker sliced pizza get such a great feedback from you. Most “serious” pizza dudes just eat Neopolitan and I think it’s so lame.
Alright UA, i need you to go to Prince Street pizza and try the Pepperoni square slice, so you can compare the two for me. I go to NY twice a year and Prince Street pizza is my must go to spot everytime.
I gotta make another trip to NYC pronto.
Mr Celebrity over here!🤣🤣 Lets go!
"Save A Prayer" by Duran Duran is one of my favorite songs but yeah, hope you don't get a strike for it! :D
I ate here cuz of Weizmann. And took my bro here. Hands down the best 2 slices to me is the buratta and the fig jam and bacon. The original one my bro ate also in Brooklyn he said that one was way better. But lines are longer. I advise going to the Christopher Street spot instead.
I like the charm of Williamsburg. I really enjoyed it there.
I like their music choice in the restaurant
Looks like a ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS Pizza!
Safe Journey!
Yellowbird Blue Agave Sriracha!!!
They are my goto spot nowawdays when I goto my office in the west village!
Im amazed with how many are waiting to watch this premiere
it looks good i think i’ll try them one day
Gotta hit the brooklyn location my man!!
Someday!
always great reviews!!!!! when ads come up dont skip the ad guys!!!!!!! give UA all the best support!!!!
Next time you do a pizza slice with pepperoni. Put linguica slices on it also. Deliciouso!!
They opened a location downtown manhattan and I had it today. It was something else. It was freaking good.
Josh Weissman ranked it #1 in America. That was a great video that goes into pizza and compares others in NYC
it is very good but nowhere near the top 5 in NYC
I have recently tried Dario's in West Hempstead, also really good. He was the pizza guy at Lind for years
Whenever I hear Joshua Weissman I think of B-ROLL!!!
@@gbalao8885 😆
@iec7587 list your top 5 of NYC. Taglios in Mineola is solid too!
@@NoahEats John's of Bleeker, Difara, lucali, Patsy's (the original on 118 and 1st), The Best (Williamsburg). Sicilian
The square pizza slices remind me of delicious Sicilian pizza. 😋
We went to New York from England on a pizza pilgrimage, with a plan to tour all the spots and find the best slice. (Obviously an impossible task, but made for a fun plan). We started at the first place we came to, nearest our airbnb. It was (at the time, little known) L'industrie. Totally ruined the plan, by being so obviously the best, right at the very start, lol. After a few days of checking out different spots and nothing living up to it, we thought, "Well maybe it was just because it was our first taste of New York pizza" and went back to try again. Nah, it was obviously a cut above. I really miss it.
#mattdv Good stuff BIG BROTHER! Thank you.
1:27 is that Dr.Reid from criminal minds? 😂
UA has the greatest food videos
The music there is on point! #80s
Hey! How about a series about hotdogs? Thats so NY
I’ve been a few times. It’s a good solid slice. The best..hmm….well we are sort of spoiled here in NYC since we have so many good pizza places. It wasn’t the best for me but I’m sure it’s the best for some! The Pepperoni slice over at Mamas Too is really good as well. Both spots are better than Prince Street Pizza. That one has so much oil in it I get a belly ache after eating a slice every time.
Mama's Too is another good one. You should also try Unregular Pizza if you like square.
I was taken here by a new york local friend. This place single handedly saved New york pizza for me-- before this place, i didnt think any pizza could make me budge from team pequaods (chicago deep dish pizza). Definitely NY's best pizza imo.
deep dish pizza is disgusting. i lived in chicago for 4 years. the only thing chicago has is Italian Beef. Pizza is trash in chicago!
@@psgp298 you know I’ve had bad deep dish pizza in Chicago- and would have agreed if my first experience at Pequods wasn’t so incredible. deep dish can be bad- but when it’s good it’s soooo freaking good.
@@JustZG i lived there for 4 years and tried SO many chicago places-----it's OK but like Dave Portnoy says it's not really pizza it's something else. Will definitely try Pequods when i'm back there some time.
The fig jam and bacon is a must
It’s hard to rank the best pizza in NY when their are countess thousand of pizzerias in NYC unless you been to everyone. My favorite is Alba on queens blvd and Main Street and I’ve been to all the hyped up pizzerias in Brooklyn and Manhattan
Food in NYC can be so outrageous!
But UA’s face on biting the Sq slice almost convinced me this pizza is worth the price!
Nice duran Duran appearance at 3 minutes
If you want to try the best pizza in Ny come out the Long Island and try Passsione restaurant in westbury NY. (Carle Place)the pizza is fantastic and the food is out of this world imho.
I'd recognize UA on the street ✊eagles hat is a dead give away
I like how he put it into a paper bag when you said "To go" 😂😂😂 Def NY
UA needs to turn that hat inside out 😵
You are the best lol
Ua when are you coming up to rochester ny?
That pizza looks really good
Ah the Manhattan location!
