What a wonderful inspiring story. I was fortunate enough to be a patient at Shepherd from May-August, 2016 after suffering a C5 Incomplete SCI from a severe car accident. It is a wonderful place with gifted people!

I grew up with Tina and knew her ex-husband as well. Tina and I played softball and basketball together growing up, spent 12 years in school together, always involved in one sport or the other. I'll state that we did, as most do, grow apart after school as life took us in very different directions. We reconnected on Facebook several years back and I was able to watch her enjoying her life, teaching others about fitness and health. She was ALWAYS very inspiring. When this happened, it truly broke my heart for her because I could not imagine a Tina that wasn't constantly on the move. But knowing GOD and Tina, I knew that a miracle could definitely be in the making because it had already started when she survived what should have surely killed her. Praying for her and following her journey has been so uplifting to me and everyone watching! I can easily see why she was chosen to do a testimony for Shepherd's, smart move on your part! This is just the beginning of this story and what GOD is going to do with her testimony. Go Tina Go...praying for you always!
