Now Potts is taking 3 wickets at lords for England against New Zealand
With Potts being talked about as being due his England debut, what I love about this video is his intensity. You can tell the other two are enjoying it and playing the game, but Potts is putting in maximum effort. Love seeing a player who is fired up every time they play.
Well Potts just got the England call up, which makes this even more memorable for them I imagine :)

We were 10 minute late and had to share cricket kit... so that's pretty village!

I've faced a few bowlers that quick in my career and the key thing is, DON'T PANIC - if you get in a mental state, your feet go towards square leg, you tense up and you play it poorly. Trust your eye - if you're concentrating, you should pick it up early and your brain will choose the right shot based on experience. I remember bricking it when I was young against anything genuinely quick but with experience I relaxed and trusted myself, then I found I could cope with it and perhaps even score a few.

Pro's at the level of Potts are trained to bowl a top of off stump line that most amateurs aren't good enough to nick or play. Had Potts have sent down 6 Yorkers at 86 mph, he had cleaned up.

At most it looks early 80's, no way is that a 90mph bowler.
I don’t know too many village players who can play shots like that…or know all the slang. What village are we on about? Durham?
Even with the wind, Potts, for all his skills... is not and will never be a 90mph bowler. That looked low 80s tops

Hey! Can you explain the lack of performances from English team recently? Is it lack of talent? Or mismanagement from Cricket board? Maybe you can throw some light on it.
Cricket in general would benefit from strong English team (and other non Asian teams too). Cheers!
Too much emphasis on limited overs cricket where England are arguably still the best in the world (both 20 and 50 overs).
England have plenty of talent, but County Cricket is on its arse and no-one is interested in it. This is a problem as, honestly, the only thing that really matters to any English cricketer or fan is winning an Ashes test series.
Nobody is bothered about playing India or Pakistan in tests, it is all about our brotherly rivalry with Australia.

90mph is a lie I guess, Potts is kinda bowling at around 83-85mph in the test series.
