please both of them were like brothers for 30 plus years...and now to not speak for 10 years and you think it was just because Richie left one day in the middle of a tour because of substance abuse...please...Jon moved along without him and started replacing him in the studio...all this is mentioned..imagine being friends with someone for 30plus years and you wrote all this music together and now you start treating him like a has been or replaceable because he was having some issues... this new band blows and his voice is gone and never coming back...this is not Bon Jovi anymore...bon Jovi is over...this is a band trying to use the name and make money on crap vocals

Jon always says sambora had substance abuse issues. What Jon isn't telling you was it was addiction to pain killers he was taken because he had a broken shoulder and rather than cancel concert dates he powered through them.
Never did Jon actually have any care or concern for his contracted employee though, he was happy for him to suffer through it, and now at every chance Jon gets he throws him under the bus.
Jon is such a tool.
