Thanks for posting this 😮 this is Daniel and I was on this episode and it was a thrill of a lifetime sitting between Burt and Pat ! It seams a lifetime ago 😅
9:00 - 9:17 As I recall, Vicki Lawrence was not nearly as complimentary to Burt and Burt in her 1995 autobiography as she is in this late 1980's TV production.
@@65if2007 Wow! That surprises me since Bert Convy was on another show saying he was all for women hosting game shows and that’s why he pushed for Vicki to be hired as a host. I just read some reviews on Amazon and some say she was very mean spirited about a lot of celebrities in that book. Too bad. Thanks for the reply.
@@carolynwalker1328 You're welcome. What you said, that's exactly what I thought about her book. I'm not saying that anything she said about anyone should be taken at face value. It actually opened my eyes that someone as sweet on-screen as she was could be that vicious toward so many people (including her sister) when partnered with a writer. I'm not saying that what she said in the book was necessarily true; I'm just noting the differences between that and the way she describes matters in this telecast.
@@65if2007 oh yes, I understand what you’re saying! On another book site, a person did a very long detailed review and boy does she sound mean about everyone. Ha! Her own sister, Harvey Korman, CB’s ex, her mom….sheesh. You have to wonder if even Carol Burnett feels the need to distance herself from you, maybe the problem isn’t everyone else.

I never never been to Hawaii before
It’s interesting to see Vicky Lawrence on the syndicated version of Win, Lose, or Draw. I don’t think Bert did the daytime version
No he didn't
So Turd Ferguson got to work with whom he answered for "Famous Chinamen" (though Pat is Japanese)

DO TELL!!! Don’t leave us hanging!!
@@carolynwalker1328 I no longer have that book and haven't looked at it in a while. But I seem to remember her complaining about sex discrimination.

Do you have the episode from that same week where Gene Wood introduced Loni Anderson as 'Lori'?
No I don't.
Any other from Hawaii?
No, I don't.
