PEGGY'S POINT LIGHTHOUSE and PEGGY'S COVE - 30 MILES FROM HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA

Probably the most photographed lighthouse in the world, at the quaint fishing community with a magnificent monument to the profession.
We also visited the Swissair 111 Memorial • NOT FORGOTTEN - THE L... which is just over half a mile away and called in at 'Titanic Cemetery' • A DAY TO REMEMBER AT '... on our return to Halifax.

Looks a great spot - fisherman's memorial was particularly well done - but, and its a personal view, could have lived without the bagpipes on the sound track!
