“cLeaN bEaUty” - proceeds to use makeup wipes (lots of waste), leaves the water running while washing face, adds scents into products. It really feels like rich ppl be using “clean beauty” as an excuse to just pour their money into creating skincare specific to themselves smh
Pretty much 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 the term comes from a very privileged and not regulated place.
lmao yes
Thank you, it saved me the time of writing a long comment 😄
right??? she's just fear mongering
also she says she is very "natural" but clearly has had botox in her face
The fact she started her routine with makeup wipes completely undermined her credibility to front her own skincare range 😬
Mouth dropped, I thought she was going to that's one of the changes she made 🤦🏾♀️
And the rubbing 🤔
Literally what I was thinking!
most of theseharpers bazaar videos tend to use wipes first, i don't get it.
True and the aggressive rubbing made me feel urghhh
I just would like to say that she doesn't want to use petroleum in her skincare, but she's okay with beeswax... so she's want to be organic and such but doesn't care if the bees get hurt in the process. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just really tired of lack of consistency and people from clean beauty trying to convince me that their products are so much better than others. I would much rather hear "I like this and thought it would be fun to make. Enjoy"
EXACTLY 👏🏽👏🏽 'Clean Beauty' is such a horrible term. Not only does it comes from a privileged place but it also is a not regulated term. Anyone and their mamas can claim such thing 🥴
How does beeswax hurt bees?! It’s not actual bees in the wax, it made of the honeycomb they produce
@@keyriberry2633 “Privileged” she says 😂 Do share what makes it “privileged”, o wise one. Sounds more like you’re jealous with all your cringe comments flooding the place.
@@SuperCuddlebuddies the beeswax stores the honey that they make which is their food. I don’t trust “vegans” who eat honey or use beeswax either.
Everyone & their mother has a skincare line coming out rn. Quarantine was good for something
Fr 😂😂😂🤣
🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
“I thought there was a need for a really clean skincare line” - mhmm 😂😂
Are Neutrogena wipes clean beauty? How can I try someones skincare brand, when they don't even know you shouldn't use makeup wipes?🤔
Right! I was like really?!?!? Noooo! She needs to learn! I can not believe she still uses them after she should have been researching skincare for her brand!
Retin-A (Kristin Cavallari) and sunscreen (Gwyneth Paltrow) touted as "chemicals." Two of the most researched, proven and trusted ingredients / products for skin health backed by educated medical professionals. I enjoy following celebrity culture but information like this is just not accurate (Retin-A) or responsible (sunscreen).
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
For the real ones in the back!!
🙌🏻🙌🏻
My eyes roll to the back of my head the minute she says ‘clean skincare.’ Bullshit marketing term.
EVERYTHING IS A CHEMICAL LADY, god this is ridiculous I’m so sick of clean beauty fear mongering
Me too, 100%!!!
They have nothing to earn during the Pandemic thats why everyone makes skincare. They talk about green and everything but how they produce and ship its not green. Money is important for them..
When people talk about “chemicals” in their skincare they are obviously talking about HARMFUL chemicals, not chemicals in general.
@@Mollycrimey lol, and what are her credentials to decipher harmful from not?
seriously, retinoids are one of the best things you can use on your skin. this woman is so misguided
How can she have a skincare range yet STILL think make up wipes take “all” of your make up off?!
Good bloody question! 😖
Hopefully she’ll have the good fortune of having the right people in her corner teaching her better ways.
Because she's a grown ass woman & that's what she likes
There should be a drinking game for whenever celebs say “clean” 🙄🤮
Or when they talk about how "sensitive" their skin is...
I’d immediately flatline! 😂
Harper's Bazaar with all due respect as a consumer of your CZcams content, please be mindful of the people/influencers you feature on your channel. I believe it's important to influence/share information and educate people with the right, science backed facts 💯
Exactly!
💯
Girl, all they care is about money
@@zedx990 Facts! 💯
I think its more about getting to know how each person does things their own way! ❤️
Neutrogena makeup wipes seem very clean tho 😏
*EVERYTHING IS CHEMICAL‼️*
"I'm not crazy about the chemicals " while slathering chemicals on the face🤣🤣
Will somebody explain her that chemicals are perfectly fine? I can't with the green washing 🙄
The towel that she used to dry her face with looked like it was covered in foundation
Hope she updatet her skincare again without the Make up Wipes xD
Spoke too soon 😥😲
@@kendallstark4302 I mean next year haha xD
What is so wrong with them
@@amyanderson9652 they're not good at all! Not good for the skin or the environment!
She looks so much better here then that other clip of her other skincare video.. Maybe she put on some weight?
If I hear clean one more time....
🤣🤣🤣👏🏽🙄 For real!!!
omg she was so rough on her face with those wipes, and the towel 😩esp the eye area, sheeesh
Did someone count how many times she said “clean” ?
Clean beauty doesn’t mean it has to also be vegan. Some of you in the comments are confusing the terms. They are not interchangeable.
👀👀
😂
🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
😂😂😂
Oh great mom you're here 💖💖
😆😆😆
lol I'm just here for the make-up wipe comments
I really don't care for "clean"beauty but her skin care line is pretty fire. I bought the entire collection during Black Friday for 30% off. Now I been using it for 4 months and my face is clear and feels fresh. Im very much into no nonsense fragrance free skincare but I made the exception to the mango nectar and OMG Yass it really makes my face feel juicy.Kristen needs to drop the "clean beauty" marketing its a pretty good products overall
Why the hell is she so rough with her skin?? I’m cringing so hard lol
SHe forgot to say "Non-Toxic"
😂😂
So many crazy comments! The whole point of any skincare routine is to get your skin looking as healthy as you can. And from her first tutorial to now, she looks great! She’s doing something right! Love her!!!
I agree people are being so negative. They should first TRY the products before they complain
@@megs5395 most are complaining about the poor credibility after using makeup wipes and the meaningless term "clean beauty"
@@megs5395 maybe the products are good, but she has no idea why and it doesn't help to sell them
Nothing against her as a person, I actually like her, but! Her starting her routine with a makeup wipe and not properly removing her makeup makes her cleanser look shit. Tbh is there really like really a cleanser out there that fully removes multiple applications of spf, makeup, sweat oil and nasties without a first cleanse?🤔
Her towel was literally covered in makeup and then she proceeded to use her products! You HAVE to have a clean fresh surface to start your routine with!! Miss, Nai thank you girl! She really drove the importance of a real and good cleansing routine!💕
She also chose her words wrong when she basically told us that when you switch to “clean beauty”, you basically have to accept that your skincare and makeup products are now going to be dumpster fires!😂
Her skin is flawless!
I can’t get down with the wastefulness of the makeup wipes or the fragrance added to her products, but she’s clearly doing something right because her skin is beautiful.
The retinol she's been using "until she came out with her own cream" ...lol
she probably gets facials
Yea it’s genetics, not what she’s using on her face
No, there wasn't a need for your "clean beauty brand"
🤣🤣🥴💯 Seriously
LOL
Also living for the clean beauty slander.
IM SO SICK OF THOSE " CELEBRITIES " WITH THEIR SKINCARE LINE!!!!
There we go again… we already know every CZcamsr will be reacting to this stuff! 🙈
That's what I thought but I can't find a single reaction video! I guess she's irrelevant
I'm confused with the makeup wipes LOL
“I felt like there was a real need to do a skincare line that was in fact clean” well sis you thought wrong 😑
Hyram
We need you here!!!😱
do we tho
I can't wait for Hyram to see and review this lol
I've been using Albolene makeup remover for years. My eyes and skin feel great after, and not irrated like some makeup removers make your skin feel. I like her routine besides the makeup wipes, but we all have our own preference.
Two years later and it’s still disappointing.
😩🤣🤣🤣
@@keyriberry2633 damn you on everyone's comment.
@@amyanderson9652 😉😏 Thank you for noticing! I'm just happy people are beyond this whole 'Clean Beauty Marketing scam 🤷🏽♀️
@@keyriberry2633 I
Oh I was just saying, nothing mean against it lol yeah its ridiculous nowadays
@@amyanderson9652 😘💯 Agreed!
Ok so I'm a dental nerd. Scrubbing with a electric toothbrush will cause recession of the gum line. Let the tooth brush do the work for you and just gently guide it around your mouth. No scrubbing and light pressure! Also please use a fluoridated toothpaste.
Rececca , you read my mind!
Fluoride is garbage though
What is a “natural alternative to retinol”? 😂
She prolly means bakuchiol or smh, even tho it in not exactly an alternative🤷♀️
Using Botox and Fillers maybe to stay young xD
@@mirellanigro4535 yeah😂
@@anjatt9672 yup or mothbean
Come on again with the makeup wipes...
I've gotten to the point where who truly cares what someone else does during their routine, but the only thing I can't get behind is applying product and then brushing your teeth to wipe it off around the mouth LOL
“Clean” beauty, makeup wipes and celebrities starting their own skincare/makeup lines... these are a few of my favourite things 🎵
I click on this video to see if this meant she was done with wipes and NOPE. What is she thinking?
There was definitely NOT a need for yet another "clean" skincare line. Consumers are smart enough to see through the greenwashing. If you want clean, start by actually cleaning off your makeup first. 🙃
There’s still makeup on her face after she washes it cause you can clearly see it on the towel. Plus she’s so rough... chill girl!! 🤦🏻♀️
But she does look better here than her last skincare video.. Maybe she put some weight on it something
A great tip when washing your face :: Wear sweat wrist bands to prevent water from dripping down your arms and getting everywhere!
Trust me…. it’s a game changer! You’re welcome! ☺️
Why the wipes and why is she being so rough 🤦🏻♀️. I’m so tired of hearing the words clean, all natural and chemical free.
As soon as you read clean beauty you know it’s overpriced garbage
LOL 😂 FACTS 👏🏽
Yep
pineapple is probably one of the worst things you can put on your skin. full of acid and irritants.
I am expecting Hyram to react to this and I do not think it’s gonna go well
All I gotta say is... *eyeroll*
Stop the "clean beauty".
Seriously 👏🏽🥴
Guys I would never lie to you, but her skincare line is INCREDIBLE. It's drastically cleared and changed my skin. I'm in my 30s and have struggled with acne my entire life. I've tried countless products, seen dermatologists and wasn't ever truly impressed with my results. But I tried her entire line and it's amazing. Post people that use it say the same thing. Her products rarely ever stay in stock, they sell out so quick. I encourage you to try her line!
Yikes. I love Kristin but the wipes? And after both wipes and the wash, there’s still brown leftover make up on the face towel? Potentially disastrous.
Plus retinol is derived from Vitamin A. Yikes again.
I can’t.
Make up wipes... Shows she knows nothing about good skin care. Or clean anything lol
🤣🤣🤣 Girl, she only knows the term 'Clean Beauty' because that term is everywhere.
Every time I say I’m going to stop watching this series another video pops up and I feel compelled to watch it to listen to what rubbish Harper’s Bazaar is allowing people to promote. Y’all need Caroline Hirons to come and actually educate people, not this ‘clean beauty’ (but I’ll use wipes and ignore the fact that everything is a chemical) crap.
What did she learn if she is still using makeup wipes 🤦🏻♀️
I know this video is a year old so you may not even read this comment but I had just purchased a bundle of your skin care products and tried it tonight and I’m in love with the way it left my skin looking and feeling! Thank you for coming up with these products that are really clean and effective 😊
I love Kristin 😩
I LOVE KRISTIN!!!!!!!!!!
STOP CHEMOPHOBIA!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank youuu!!
I can literally hear Hyram screaming right now...
When she says cleaaaaan and shows the makeup wipes
HER SKIN IS FLAWLESS!
This girl is just so real!
Wait I thought the products were silicone free- how come there is dimethicone in the water cream?
I can’t get past using the makeup wipes!!! Ughhhh!! Not sure how “clean” this line is so not going to be jumping up and down trying to locate it. Sorry.
Comments sound like a bunch of haters lol def dig this skin care routine, and love all the products!
I will say it once- ✨Sofia Vergara ✨in Harper’s Bazaar ❗️
What was the natural retinol she started using? She never said what it was.
And what about explaining how is that you Brand is clean and which are the ingredients being usted 🤢
She reminds me of gwyneth paltrow with her "clean" ingredients bs.
Kate Hudson & Kate Beckinsale & Kim Kardashian next
Can't tag @susanyara fast enough ❤ hahaha ily kristin
Replace the wipes with the reusable Halo.
Clean beauty is truly one of the biggest scams 🤦🏻♀️
Why is everyone tripping about makeup wipes?
Oh, good...another "clean" skincare line... 🙄
I dont know what the consistency of her water cream moisturizer is, but it looks like Jessics Alba's Honest hydrogel cream.
I like her energy but clean beauty takes me back to 2012... lol we should get over the chemophobic clean movement fear mongering already...
Everyone here complaining about her rubbing. I mean, what, is she supposed to spray everything on her face? How else do you expect for her to apply and distribute this stuff? Unless you’re referring to how aggressive the rubbing is? 🤔
I'm sorry but everything about this is BS - I'm not sure I expect more of Kristin but HB, you need to vet what you put out there....
I love skin care it's super so important. My channel is not even about skincare but I always mention it because it's so important .... Skin care is self love 🐎💛🐎🌠🌠🌠
Since Laguna Beach....I LOVE KRISTIN❤❤❤❤❤
EVERYTHING IS A CHEMICAL!
Girl bye 2 years after still using makeup wipes after doing that video did anyone not give u some alternatives
I thought they already featured her before?
OMG EVEN THE TOOTHBRUSH SHE DIDN'T USE CORRECTLY! you don't rub your teeth like that with a sonicare brush!
Dont get fooled by this eye cream that you think will makes your eyes " brighter "
I just looked up at the ingredients list and it has titanium dioxide in it 👀
Also why her skincare has fragrance in it but ber lip balm is fragrance free? Confused
Do you know how many chemicals are on those make up wipes to keep them moist lasting for ever on the shelf?! The environmental factor, plus it causes sewer blockage that takes millions of dollars to clean up.
Is the bleach she uses obsessively on her hair "clean"?
Omg no🙄
Skincare line without SPF? YIKES.
It takes years to develop & get approved.
Is it good for over 40 skin?
I suggest using an actually retinol product it's not "a bad chemical" it's the most researched and proven ingredient and has done wonders for my skin. I suggest checking out Dr Dray's channel she's a board certified dermatologist who gives good affordable recommendations that aren't this "clean beauty" crap
NO.
@@oliviapeterson5454 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Dr. Dray is AMAZING! Love your comment.
@@keyriberry2633 I love her so much!! Before I found skincare CZcams I wouldn't watched a video like this and believed all the "clean beauty" nonsense, so glad that I came upon her channel :)
@@oliviapeterson5454 Wow!! 🙌🏽💯 We have such a similar story! That's basically how I felt in love with skincare too. My skin is so healthy and glowy now thanks to her tips.
I'M NOT CRAZY ABOUT CHEMICALS!
Throwback to Laguna beach who remembers haha 😂
She touching her hair and than touching the her face omg 😯
For the millionth time, everything literally everything from the air we breathe to the water we drink, everything is a chemical!!! I'm so sick of brands saying "oh,this product is natural and clean,no nasty chemicals" like how is that possible when everything on this planet is a chemical??!!!! Just try to money off people with bs marketing.
Makeup wipes are fine, they do their job as cleansing for the first cleanser. I dont talk about environments
