That might be the best advice, man.
I have made two music videos and I am proud of them, cause I did them with very little resources even thouth the second one we were a 3 man team and I as a director was in front of the camera. Now I am working on the concept and screenplay for two other music videos. For me this seems to be the hardest part as I try to come up with specific things and yet it just doesn't clic. But I'll get there eventually.
You got this! Keep workin hard
@@Minhute Always... But I believe concpetion and finding ideas is actually the hardest part.
Highlights are the same as when you use a equalizer in Music Production lowering frequencies often better instead lifting up
Yes sir!
Same as saturation 🤣🏆

Thanks for the video! Much appreciated, absolute beginner, going to start making videos for my own music and videos for my friends. Just using my phone a gimbal and a light.
All you need to start!
Thank you for mentioning Hues, I never touch hues knob, I have to explore more and try to learn about it. Definitely need more videos like this, bcz there is very less videos on CZcams specifically about filmaking in music videos. Thank you again ❤️
Of course! Glad I could help you :)
I made a whole music video just playing with the hues in colorgrading. I like the result.

Thank you!
Very helpful man, thx. Might you have a video on the evolution of how much you charged per video? Advice on that would be very helpful.
Sounds like a good video! Will definitely start mapping that one out and drop it in the next few weeks!
Great video man was wondering if you had any tips for getting focused shots on your stabilizer
Depends what camera you’re using!
I’m using the Nikon D7500 with a Ronin S. I know some people per set their focus before movements. Was wondering if you had any tips ?
Usually I use autofocus on my gimbal! Continuous tracking
Bro you drop a whole lotta gems in this video 🤘 much appreciated. New sub 🤝
Appreciate you! Thank you!
this video definitely deserves more recognition
I appreciate thatttt!! Thank you for your support
Thanks bro.
For sure!
i like how this man casually showed kevin gates lmao. but i just watched about 3 vids discussing music videos. yours was the only one that discussed aperture tips and actual camera movements. loved the vid.
about to shoot my first music video tho. i needed this. 🤞🏾
Thank you so much!! Good luck I believe in you
Dope video bro
Thank you yo!

Great video! There's just this one thing: every time you lean on your desk, the screen shakes a bit and I can't help but notice it. I know, not very useful as feedback, but it really bugs me :D
Yeahhh haha doesnt happen anymore!! I just had my set up rigged a little weird back then
the SHITTY RIG set up at the end LMFAO!! IBIS, why I LOVED my GH5 for so long lol. And the aperture DOP range is a really great tip!
YEZZIR YOU KNOW IT
Bro you actually know what you are talking about and I learned something from you.
Glad you could take some info with you yo!
thanks for this video
For sure!
yo bro thanks for the Tips
For sure!

@@Minhute you're welcome
Thx 🤗
For sure!
super fire
Appreciate it!
Thank you.
Of course!!
Love this video
Thank you!!
Straight up, you need to learn about headroom in operating camera its all over the place in your videos. Respect for trying to help everyone getting into this
I feel you, just most of my clients like a ton of movement so Im usually running on the MoVi alone and have a lot to focus on! But as long as my clients like it Im happy!!
great video
Thank you!!
Thank you for the Video. Question, which smart phone would you recommend for 'Events Videography' in terms of 'capturing music, dancing, experiences between people and Editing it all after to create amazing music videos?' Would it be the Google Pixel, Iphone 15, Samsung, Sony or another smart phone? Creating music videos & film making is key here. Note; most of the events will be at night with various flashing lights. Look forward to your wisdom.
Many thanks,
Gary
Hey! Im not too versed in the different kinds of phones to be honest, I’ve only ever used iPhone so not sure I can speak too much on this.
Thanks for sharing ;)
For sure!
What’s some good portable lighting to invest in??
My favorites are the Aputure MC and MX! Quasars and other tubes are pretty good to invest in also.
i'm also team 4.0 in fact most of the time a good lighting makes the job wayyy easier
Good lighting is EVERYTHING haha
@@Minhute taking best selfies ever without filters too lmao
Hey bro, first vid I’ve seen from you - thanks for the content.
What software would you recommend for music video editing?
For sure! Honestly I use Premiere Pro but its whatever you’re comfortable with really!
Thank you so much for the info! What was this video shot with the 1dx or R5?
1DX3!
Thanks so much for the info & btw I love how you shot this shot of you with the way the colors pop and it looks a tad dark- I am a beginner and looking to shoot low budget videos & pics on my ios for bracelet photos/videos. I want it to look professional and dark and moody like a music video- any apps you recommend for editing photos /videos? and what are the most important things to adjust in the apps? thanks so much!!
If youre editing on Mobile, Premiere Rush is nice! Usually color and working on clean cuts are super important
@@Minhute tysm what features on the app are most important to look at / adjust?
@@RinaASMR Id say color is the most important so anything there just learn how to play with!
@@Minhute tysm!!
DAVIDDDDD my guyyyyy my g
What upppp
Really helpful
Glad you enjoyed the video!!
How long have you been shooting editing?
8-9 years total! Maybe 4 years or so professionally
Something... appreciate you bro
First time ever thinking about a music video for my music 🤘🏽
For sure man!
amazing video!! Im a beginner videographer for dancers and always struggling with getting that sharp footage and also colorbalance in setting! Can you recommend a budget system camera? (atm shooting with Sony a7rii)! Thanks for your wisdom!
Glad you enjoyed the video!! The R series for Sony are more photo based, so maybe even get a S series if you want to stay in the Sony ecosystem. A7s3 is a beast of a low light camera!
@@Minhute Thank you so much! a year after purchase I came across article that told the same thing; more photo based. the A7s3 ... not for my wallet atm :D so I am looking for more budget alternatives! Thanks again for the advice about f2 - f4
For sure! The A73 is a good option also!
@@Minhute A7s3 is a beast. Not only for low light. But it is already a tiny cinema camera to be honest.
Just came across your channel, love it bro!! Which camera do you use mostly??
Thanks so much! Honestly I ise them all pretty evenly!
@@Minhute which camera should i buy for a great quality video and a decent price?
@@kelvin9016 really depends on your budget and what you’re looking to shoot!
@@Minhute $2k is the budget
For music video
Maybe go for a used EOS R and grab some lenses from there
new sub here..thanks for the tips
For sure!
good video nicfe quality man
Thanks so much!
@@Minhute nice quality😂💯💯
@@Minhute you know what I’m going to give you a subscribe🔥
Thank you!!
This is a very informative video. Definitely gained a sub.. I'm trying to get into videography. Music video making more specifically. Never used a high performance camera.. is there any specific Budget friendly cameras that shoot in 4k and capable of shooting professional looking videos that you recommend
Honestly it all comes down to the lens! The camera body just supplies resolution and performance. A good lens goes a long away on any camera body
@@Minhute interesting...so why do folks go out and spend thousands on a camera if it really doesn't equate to a better finished product? and what camera and or lens would you say is great for a beginner and good results?
Theres no one camera that does everything, each has their own purposes! Theres different features that specific cameras can push as far as the post process and on set needs go. Specifics ports for monitoring, specific color profiles specific codecs etc. framerates.
As far as a beginner camera the Sony A73 or EOS R are nice options!
@@Minhute Definitely appreciated that response. it makes a lot of sense and it reminded me of how i see life in a nutshell. No ONE thing regardles of how great it is is capable of doing everything. thanks for the information, I'll be sure to use it ✊🏾
For sure man! Happy to help
thank you
For sure!
Good video. Eos r doesn't have is though
Thats true but still a great camera for videos! I used it for a ton of videos in the past
thank u alot .....
Of course!
Arigatho gozaimazz🙂
I clicked because I saw Young Moe. I liked and subscribed because it’s a damn good video.
Thank you bro! Appreciate that
10Q brooo
Any secret spots in the desert in SoCal you like to shoot?
Never been to the deserts in SoCal tbh but its in my bucket list haha
As a videographer I just want to say that the tattooed rap artist looks BAD ASS in this 🤟
Do you have a recommendation for a image stabilized camera and video camera
The EOSR5 is a really good one! Its my B cam to my 1DX3!
What’s the best camera for run and gun shoot that gives good quality for beginners been stuck on a bmpcc 6k but I seen more I think any suggestions?
Honestly really depends what you’re shooting and if you need autofocus or not. BMPCC doesnt have auto focus so you’ll need to find an alternative for that. A lot to take into account
You’re speaking from a directors perspective… it helped me but if you’re the artist, and the director by yourself…. I need tips on that
@@donttrustnobody1yes I have a camera. I just bought the iPhone 13 for the camera.
I was gonna get the ax700 by Sony but I just thought this might be simpler.
