Ghosts: How To Unlock Gear & Outfits!

Hey there everyone! Today I have a PSA (Public Service Announcement) about unlocking outfits like the ghillie suit & headgear for your character customization. I (along with many other people) have wasted many hours of time trying to unlock that sweet ghillie suit. Today I'm here to show you how to prevent that and actually unlock it for good! I'm not sure why, but it is impossible to unlock the gear unless it is in your current operations. If this helped you out, please leave a "Like" to spread the video around to others! i know what you mean man , it took me getting like 700 kills with my L115 to actualy realise that the kills i was getting wasnt actually counting towards anything, due to the fact that i didnt have the operation i had about 1500 kills with my L115 when i finally unlocked the Ghillie. just then to realise i didnt have the Variable zoom operation unlocked it was a bummer but at least i got the best ghillie there anyways so i didnt really care about not having the Cobra suit to be honest i most probably will never use it so yeah thats all i had to say Good vid man looking foward to be seeing some more future vids;)

I already 1 Shot 2 Kill the enemies, thought I got the UDT TASC but didn't realize I haven't got the Colateral Damage OP which sux, now I got to re-do and find some campers all over again. Thw OP idea sux!

The UDT TASC is something I've wanted for a while but still have not got the operation, I've gotten a total of just 4 collateral all by luck, one of them being the Double Headshot collateral luckily I had that operation...

Thank god they changed it if you don't know all operations are always active even if you cant find it in your operations thing i searched for so long to get the dervgru specialist headgear but i figured out they changed it and i was already unlocking it

For the Airborne-headgear, I'm sure you had to get an all-pro (collat + headshot), but recently I saw that you have to get 200 kills with rapid fire!! Did they patch that or do headgear and uniform have multiple opterations that have to be completed??

just saying but at the bottom where it says Weapon": chrome barrel master III etc guessing thats a reference to challenges operations but i agree that does suck
that you need the operation to unlock them

If you have both the get 500 kills with the chrome barrel operation on and get the 250 kills with the variable zoom sight are you leveling them both up at the same time if your sniper has chrome barrel and variable zoom?

I can do operations that aren't selected. As long as they are shown within those groupings, they can be completed. The ones that are selected for me are just my main ones I look at, but the rest still keep going.

I think the operation selection is a bad idea. Like you said in the video you get the sense that time and effort was wasted. Why not allow all the session activity from the moment to start playing the multi-player to apply to these special tasks?

I've had some random patch unlocks that weren't in my operations listing n I've gotten the field order one done more than 5 times so it's kinda inconsistant.

Its not like that for me prestige. But i play on ps3 idk if that affects it or not. Because i remember not having the "kill 4 different enemies with one clip 20 times" one selected and i still got the headgear

I completed the operation while tracking it it even said that i would unlock the armour at the bottom yet on the armour in the customization thingg it said the operation for the armour was inactive so i finished and didn't get the armor. Help

The only good part about having to unlock them through operations is the fact that you get extra squad points for completing multiple operations in the 2 week span

I would not feel too bad about this. i've had the operations active selected and completed then the game told me i unlocked helmets and uniforms but they are not unlocked when i go to customise my soldier so you might have wasted your time even if it was active and selected lol

They patched this. It now says "Operation inactive" at the bottom, informing you that it cannot be unlocked until the operations rotate.
