Hey, voice of Monster for this mod again! I'm sorry that this song wasn't the best-received, but imo it fits the story and the context of this particular chapter well, and I still had fun recording for it regardless! I am aware of the issue with the vocals being too quiet for most of it, me and Azuri will be fixing that for the release
I think I find Skid not having many turns in this song a bit of Fridge Brilliance, since his own mother is there as well, and he feels that he and Nene are both clearly outmatched. He was able to call through to Pump in the last song, but since it did nothing, he's mostly losing hope, with only a girl he barely knows aiding him. And Monster knew just how to lure her away with the revelation of what became of Pico in the last hour. It's also clever how this hour only has two songs as a bit of a callback to how the original Week 2 only had two songs before Monster was added.

I love the detail in the song that after the lemonade mimic the voice of pico and say "Guess what happened to him" Nene just start to panic Man its a pretty small detail but i LOVE small details
Been loving all these songs! It's crazy the amount of talent that exists in the FNF community. Both eager and fearful to see who Monster will target next.
You dont need to listen to what other people say, but i personally loved the song alot. It has this funky, spooky like beat that fits Monster. I think the Monster vocals couldve been made more, hmm.. understandable, i did have to look at the captions to understand the lyrics but i love them alot! Nice work :D
The monster songs from this game's modding community are always so fucking fire. Why are they all so good?! Even the 'bad' ones are still good. Particularly this song and both Neo versions of the Monster songs are absolute fucking bangers. In no particular order my top 5 Monster songs are: Hallucination (NEO) Illusion (NEO) Boogieman (Twinsomnia) Shiver (B-Side Remix) Corruption Takeover - LIES (This song) Those by far are my top 5 favorite Monster songs with Frostbite (From this mod) being my number 6, specifically because of the whole BF glitch part and the fact that the Monster seemingly taunts BF as he struggles to fight adding further to his malice. The latter of which was solidified when he 'Takes a trip down memory lane' and sings as Pico with a ghostly manifestation of him while Monster has white eyes and the lights flicker. Gave me chills the first time I heard the beat go that hard and it still bops almost a year later.
Not the best takeover song, but I still like it! I would guess that this week is a literal hell for you guys, I would recommend getting more (trusted) devs to help
Damn this is amazing, when the Monster starts imitating Pico I shiver from how cruel that is to do that. But it really fits the character. Again amazing song, can't wait to see someone like Whitty or Tabi (that are teased in the first version of the mod if Im not wrong) and how they will fight the corruption. Keep up the good work!

lessen the voice filter on monster. his already low volume makes the filter mess with his voice a lot more so he slurs his words almost. other than that this song slaps bangs and wallops.

Claro, es un remake, pero desde que bf se descorrompio en la hora 2 de pico me dejó tocado hasta ahora y es lo que hizo que siguiera viendo el proyecto, también tengo en cuenta que luchan contra lemon demon, que se burla de ellos como y cuando quiere, ojalá haya alguna descorrupcion y que el descorrupto escape y sobreviva, si es bf o pico mejor, inclusive gf, seguid por la línea del trabajo y no os apresureis para acabar antes, todo hay que pulirlo, ya espero con ansias la hora 3
Really disappointed by this song, it feels really rushed. It doesn't fit the situation, and the monster vocals don't fit at all. Skid barely sings either, and when he does, it's only for TWO NOTES. You guys had 4 months to put this out, this whole day just feels lazy and unloved. Hopefully H3 will be better.
well it fits the feeling of just being lied to, and gives off a feeling of no hope. skid probably only sings for that short because he can’t handle this. of course you would be stressed out seeing your mom and best friend corrupted. but eh, it’s your opinion. im just stating why I think otherwise

I don't know what's going on in development over there, but if you all needed more time to polish things up, I'm sure nobody would care. Hell, look at base corruption. Everyone loves it despite the episodes having 3 month intermissions in between. I apologize if I came of as rude as well, I just hate it when people lie about how they actually feel about things and give nothing BUT positive feedback. Not having criticism can really hurt projects, and I don't want takeover to end up like that since it's genuinely a good take.
This song radiates the meaning of distrust and misinformation plus a little bit of fear great job with this AZURI
