Facebook Marketplace Deal GONE WRONG but was it a TOTAL BUST - Tonka, Structo, Nylint, First Gear

I replied to a Facebook Marketplace post only minutes after it was listed. Sent photos of the items I was interested in as well as agreeing to the asking price and offering to send payment right way since I had to go to work and then drive an hour and a half to get them. The seller responded and agreed to sell them to me but informed me there was more to look at that was not shown or listed yet on Facebook. She suggested to just come and see if there was anything else I may want and then just pay for everything at once in cash. We kept in contact through out the day, getting her address, estimated time of arrival and she ask me to message her as I left work which I did and received a response of "great, i'll see you soon". Upon arriving she showed my the collection of trucks and I notice that most of the ones we had discussed I didn't see so I said something to her. She told me that a guy came over just a little bit ago and bought them. He purchased all the more valuable ones worth aprox $40-90 each and there were 5 of them. Lady was asking $20 each, so buying those would have made the 3 hour round trip worth it. I did pick out so lower valued ones and was able to get them for $15 each but once I sell them and pay fees, I would just make enough to cover cost and gas basically. As I was looking through the diecast truck, my father spotted a large box of pressed steel vintage trucks. He ask if they were for sale and picked one out for he own collection. They were also $20 each and the one he picked was probably worth $140-$180 in its condition. So after picking out and making a deal on the diecast I offered her $100 for the rest of the pressed steal trucks which she accepted. I estimate they would be worth around $350 in there condition so I don't think it was a total bust of a trip however the guy before me and my father definitely made out the best.

Thanks. Yeah, i work most Saturdays so it hard to get stuff because hear the yard sales and flea market are on Saturdays. Plus i miss a lot of the good stuff at estate sales because it gone by sunday when I get to it.
